The past◆◇◆Chapter 9

Revenge.

Revenge was a dark boiling chasm in your heart.

It ate you up until you could never control it.

I was Revenge.

I would avenge my mother and father for the things those Eternal did to them. I would avenge my sister.

Sept, 2000 Sunday the fourteenth

Mother was in pain. The baby had cried and cried until she did not have the voice to cry anymore. I watched as father came outside holding a bundle of cotton blankets. Inside soft cooing noises crept out. I stood on tiptoes to see the baby.

Her cheeks were flushed with pinkness. Her eyes were a light blue often peeking at me and widening. Her small rosy red lips smiled as she saw my rugged hair. She pulled her hands up and clutched a strand of my hair. She dragged it violently. I yelped before yanking back the strand of hair.

She giggled and snorted before resting her eyes on mine. Father smiled and looked at me" she's going to be beautiful" he said.

I had to admit she would. He handed over the baby to me. He made me sit and prop me hand behind her neck before leaving me to check on mother. As he entered he muffled a gasp. I looked up and saw dad's eyes. He flicked has thumb two times. Our secret signal. He was telling me to run. Perhaps there was danger inside. I stood up clutching the baby to my chest. In the bundle of blankets I saw a thin layer of paper. In it was a name. Karlin. I peeked from a Window downstairs and saw a wing. It was silvery white. And I knew it was the wing of an Eternal. I heard a gasp of pain as a sword drove towards my father's heart.

I wept and sniffed. I wept. And I vowed that day. Revenge would be my friend. I would avenge my parents. I would destroy the Eternals.

Now

Karlin stood up from the ground brushing her knees with her hands. I sheathed my sold and darkened my stare at the trees. My almost purple eyes created a moody and eerie effect, creating fear in the eyes of some of the trees. Divine stared at me and I quickly changed my stare into a happy one.

The King of the Trees smiled and said" one among is a Lyshamyr and one is a Gryuon"

Merlin gasped and whispered into Karlin's ear. Though he was far away, I connected with the water under his foot and was and be to hear him clearly" a Liar and a Person who trusts too much"

I clenched my fist. Ever since, he'd come on the journey I'd been feeling a little bit suspicious that he would spoil my plan. Karlin, I'd already manipulated her, Divinia, I knew that look in her eyes , she had feelings for me, what a lower. But him, he had a strange aura. I would be more careful around him from now on.

I stepped forward and spoke" please, O wise Elder, cam you tell us the location of Aermaet"

"I can, but I don't need too for you can open a portal right here" said Gabarath.

I looked around the group. Was there anyone with that power specification? Div had fire. I and Karlin had Water. What did Merlin have?

"Uh, Merlin! What is your Element"

He lifted one of his eyebrows then said" gas"

Div bursted out in hysterical laughter. She lifted her eyebrow and imitated Merlin." Gas" she said.

I smiled at her trying to convince her that I was on her side.

"No, but we can use your gas powers mixed with the Atmosphere's-" Merlin stopped him and continued the explanation which, ad no sense to either Divinia nor Karlin." Moisture to create a molecular pathway into the world of Eternals"

"Yea, that was what I was about to say" I shrugged then created a circular sphere of water. I watched as several games came in contact with the water. At first, turning the water pink then purple before it became a swirling black void.

I pushed my hand through and looked at the back of the void. My hand didn't come out. We'd created a portal.

This Chapter is pretty short. Sorry guys i had to make it as short at this but because of this I'm going to give you guys a double update. How many of you voted? Please it's really important to me.
