Chapter 10

P's Normal Karlin's Pov

Prisoners◆◇◆Chapter 10

As Merlin and Aiser opened up the portal I felt a surge of relief. At first when Merlin came, I saw Aiser frown and I wanted no problems between them. I had thought because they were both boys they could be friends with each other.

Merlin gestured for me to go into the portal. And I did so yet reluctantly. As my hands touched the liquidy substance, I felt a cold feeling erupting all over my body. I passed through and saw the most beautiful sight in the whole world.

Cliffs with regal and brown or white houses, cottages or huts adorned the huge and massive scenery. From the top of the clouds, a huge mountain with snow on its summit rose majestically. Clinging from the sides of the mountains were palaces, white and golden houses with huge porticos and massive braziers glowing with beautiful blue fire. A path wound up to the peak of the mountain where the most massive palace stood. An Eighteen foot house stood brushing the clouds with its outstanding silvery roof. Gardens of olives surrounded the building. Red Rose petals added a dangerous look to the palace. The building's door dripped with 24-Karat gold.

I was shook out of my reverie when Divinia landed closely behind me and said" This is more beautiful than the pictures of the heavenly city"

I couldn't talk. The beauty of this realm could create silence as beautiful as its surroundings. As Aiser jumped out from behind us, a huge silhouette appeared out of nowhere pointing a sword at us. When Merlin jumped through ,the portal closed and the Eternal spread his wings and made us see him clearly.

He had golden blonde tousled hair and blue eyes. His smirk said everything about him. He had too much confidence, he was very bold, he was probably some rich guy's kid. He landed in front of us, brushing off dust from his shiny silver armor.

"What business do you have in Aermaet? "He asked in a smooth voice.

Aiser came forward and said" Ramon" he paused, his voice taking a dangerous tone" we have an appointment with King Uriel, your Father"

The boy raised and eyebrow, then sheathed his sword. He narrowed his eyebrows, then said "Come"

He led us into the big Palace as if it was his, and it probably was, seeing Aiser had called his father a King. He opened the big doors with a flick of his wrist and Div said" Show off" silently. Inside, golden,silver and bronze chandeliers hung from the ceiling where a dozen tapestries where pasted. Several diamonds adorned the walls often blinging every now and then. Ramon reached a door in which a beautiful purplish sapphire crystal lay encased in box. He touched the sapphire and the door opened" if any of you touch that gem, we'll, let's just say you don't want to know" he advised.

We stepped into a room with a throne at the end of it. The walls were done in beautiful intricate designs swirling furiously. The throne was topaz in color, it was almost transparent as if you could sit in liquid. In the throne, a winged man sat. His wings were green and blue. Almost like the sky meeting the sea.

He had a trimmed beard with little diamonds encircling it. His hair was done in a long ponytail and on his head rested a golden crown. Rubies and diamonds were encased in the crown with perfect for. He was dressed in a silky, long lilac robe.

When we came in, he let out a sigh that made the throne room creak. As we approached him his son announced" Father, you have visitors, they claim to have an appointment with you"
The King like his son, raised his eyebrow and spoke In a prickly voice" I know none of this idiots, let them to the Whyshena's"

I, not caring who this proud king was stepped forward, my parents had saved their country once, maybe that would count as a reason for him to listen to us.

I pointed to Aiser" We are the children of Gareth and Reah Asinton"

The king jerked his head up slightly before saying,

"So, you have come to kill me right? To avenge your parents, hahaha hahaha" he laughed. I felt confused, what was this crazy guy talking about.

Aiser clenched his fist"Uriel, you have no right to talk about our parents, you killer"

Uriel was amazed. That a rat as small as those, was calling him a murderer. He smirked then exclaimed "Take them to to the dungeons, let them rot"

When Aiser heard he raised his sword and screamed"Attack!!"

Div turned back into her firestorm mode, Merlin created blades of sulphuric air around him, I sculpted a scythe made out of water and we lunged together at once protecting ourselves from the hands of the prince's touch.

The Prince didn't touch us. He created a golden ball the size of a juggernaut truck, then he sent it to us. The sphere rotated towards us. I slashed at it but, nothing happened to it. The water just passed through the surface then rippled out. Div stifled a grunt and literally blowtorched the ball. After the fire went down, the ball was left with only a few minor burn marks, but still, no damage was done to the ball.

Merlin and Aiser didn't attack, it seemed they knew force was futile. They watched as the ball encased all of us.

The dungeon was full of rats and smelled like rats. Hundreds lay eating the rottening body of a man. As they door opened they scurried back to the dark, ready to continue their lunch when the door was closed.

The golden ball disappeared and we all fell down to wet floor. I grabbed Aiser's hand with my left hand. But as I felt the thin fingers and the little patches of flesh, I turned and saw the lifeless hand of a skeleton. I screeched and yanked my hand from the dead body.

I turned and looked at Aiser, he was furious. His hands were boiling with hot water, his face was contorted into and angry stare. When I approached him, I put my hand on his shoulder. Not knowing it was me, he's struk with fury and my stomach exploded in hot pain. From my lower abdomen to my ribcage pain crept slowly until, i realized i had immunity to water, so how could water burn me.

As i asked myself this question. Aiser and Merlin rushed to my side, Div was holding my hand and soothing me with quiet words.

Aiser apologized" I'm sorry, i was just so angry that- I- I am sorry"

I nodded and put my hand on the injury ,using cold water to stop the pain. I stood up and remembered what the king had said. He'd killed my parents?

"Aiser what happened to our parents?"

His eyebrows went up and his lips trembled, but he managed to say the story" you'd just been born, i was eager to hold you and i did ,you pulled my hair and laughed when I yanked it back" he explained"Then" his eyes turned cold" Uriel arrived, he slayed both of them"

I clenched my fist and realized why I riel thought we'd come to kill him. I brushed the dust of my clothes and said" Let's get outta here"
