The bright sun shone through the small part in the curtains onto my face. I slowly opened my eyes, instantly regretting it. As soon as my eyes opened my head starting pounding. I put a hand on my throbbing head and sat up.

I looked around and realized I was ok the Gallagher's couch. I pulled my phone out on my back pocket.

Shit shit shit

I called V quickly hoping she wouldn't be pissed.

V: Hello?
Me: I'm so sorr-
V: it's fine, Debbie told me you stayed up late last night watching movies. Just take the day off sweetie and let your wrists heal.
Me: Thank you so much V
V: get some rest sweetie you seem tired
Me: alright
V: I'll see you later hopefully if Debbie doesn't steal you from us
Me: yeah I'm going home in a bit to take a nap
V: alright bye
Me: bye

*END OF CALL*

That went better than expected. I stood up slowly and walked to the door. Before I could open it it swung open.

"Good morning, how's the hangover?" Carl laughed walking past me.

"I thought we were good I guess not." I replied.

"I was joking. You should get some rest or that will just get worse." He chuckled sitting on the couch.

"Just forget everything that happened last night and just pretend we never stopped being friends." I said about to walk out the door.

"Whatever you say babe." He shrugged.

"Pet names? Already?" I asked knitting my eyebrows together.

Yeah I decided to just keep the book the way it is so I'm active again, sorry for the short chapter I'm just rly busy at the moment:)
