*Alysa's POV*

Sunday

Today is the day...

Today is the day he leaves...

Will he come back?

Will he forget about me?

Will he find someone new?

All these questions swarmed my head making my anxiety sky-rocket.

We were currently driving back to my house. The tension in the air was suffocating. He kept his eyes steady on the road while I sat uncomfortably in my seat.

I stared out the window trying to forget about the whole situation. But it was stuck in my head.

He pulled up to my house and I looked over at him. He kept a straight face, I unbuckled my seat belt and pushed the door open.

I was heading toward my door when I heard him get out.

He ran over to me and engulfed me in a hug. And then the waterworks started flowing.

I sobbed and hugged him back tightly.

"Alysa." He said.

I stayed silent and let him continue.

"I love you, I love you so much that I'm going away so you can have a normal life. So that you can be there for Marley." His voice cracked.

"I- I- love you too." I cried.

I looked up at him and he looked down at me.

Before I knew it his lips were on mine.

He deepened the kiss and I didn't pull away. I just let it happen.

After a good 30 seconds he pulled away.

"I will be back." He said.

"I will wait forever if that's what it takes." I sobbed.

"Goodbye Alysa." He replied walking to his car.
