I just shook my head and leaned back against the tree once more letting the sun's rays beat against me and ignoring the buzzes coming from my phone in my pocket.

I waited until the hallways were cleared before I walked to my locker to grab my things. The hallways were now deserted and there was no sign of life. Ok so maybe that was a bit dramatic because there is still teachers and a few students left.
Anyways moving on.
I grabbed the textbooks I needed to do the homework for tonight and put up the ones I didn't need before shutting my locker and walking out of the school. I was walking perfectly fine when all of a sudden some wacko decided to grab me from behind.
With a scream and a swift kick at the wacko, I was released. I spun around and saw Danger on the ground in a fetal position holding his..yeah anyways you get the picture.
“What the heck? Why did you just grab me? Do you know that you just scared the living daylights out of me!” I exclaimed.
I received a grunt of pain as my answer. In my head I was debating whether to help him or just walk away. Then again I am not supposed to be seen with him so..
As I started to walk away Danger decided to talk and stop me. “Sharpie wait. I was just going to give you a ride home.” He said in a pained voice.
I stopped and turned around and saw him slowly getting up off of the ground and he hobbled over to me. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. I bet that if I took off now that I could make it to my house before Danger could catch up to me.
Then the thought came to me, I was an unathletic girl while Danger here is a strong, athletic guy. He would most definitely catch up to me if I ran off.
“Come on let me take you home. It is starting to rain anyways.” He told me which brought me out of my thoughts.
I glanced up at the sky and saw a ton of dark grey clouds in the sky. I felt some rain drops start to fall on top of my head and I cursed myself for deciding to walk this morning instead of driving.
I had no other choice than to get into the car with Danger that is unless I wanted to get sick and die or something like that.
“Fine, but today is the only day and its just because its raining.” I grumpled.
He smirked at me and opened the passenger door for me. I slid into the passenger side of his truck and was surprised on just how clean it was.
Danger got in the drivers seat and started his truck before we finally pulled out of the school parking lot.
“You do realize that anyone could have seen me get into your truck right?” I said after a few moments of silence.
“Mhmm.”
“I thought you said we had to be careful.” I asked him.
“Yup.”
It didn't look like I was going to get a conversation out of him so I just dropped the topic and watched the senery passed by outside the window and stayed silent.
It was a few minutes later when Danger drove right past the road we lived on that I spoke again.
“Umm Danger, you just passed our rode.” I said to him in a confused tone.
“Yeah I know.” He said simply as he pulled into the McDonalds parking lot. I shot him a confused glance as he unbuckled and got out.
We he opened my door and saw that I hadn't unbuckled yet then he spoke, “Well are you not going to get out? I am kinda hungry right now seeing that I haven't ate since lunch.”
I slowly got out and walked beside Danger and into the fast food place.
“Yes I would like two number sevens and two ice cream cones please.” Danger ordered.
“That will be $10.24.” The flirty cashier said. How she managed to get into that small of a shirt I don't known but it was way too small and she thought it made her look great. At least that it was I can gather by watching this girl talk to Danger.
I rolled my eyes at the way she was acting. Its a good thing i'm not jealous.
“Sit.” Danger told me after he picked out the “perfect” table or as he says. I sat down and he placed the big, greasy bag down on the tale in front of me.
“Here” Danger said as he handed me half of the food he had gotten. I looked down at the massive amount of food and the back up at him.
“Umm you don't have to split you food with me. I am fine anyways i'm not even hungry.” The moment those words left my mouth my stomach decided to make that dying whale sound.
I felt my cheeks heat up as Danger gave me a pointed look. He pushed to food back towards me, “Uh huh yeah you are so not hungry. You didn't eat lunch so now is the time to eat.”
I picked up a fry and ate it. “How did you even see me at lunch? I didn't even see you or anyone else around me so how in the fudge crackers did you see me?” I questioned dramatically.
He smirked at me again before saying his all too famous line once more, “I have my ways.” before he continued eating.
“Creeper.” I muttered before I set off to eating the oh so wonderful greatness that sat in front of me.
A few hours later I was laying on my bed listening to some music before going to bed. Danger had brought me home after we ate and he stayed at my house until about an hour ago to make sure that I was “ok”.
It was frustrating that he is now watching my every move and I have to let him or he with tell my parents but on the other hand its kind of sweet in a way.
Ok whoa whoa whoa back up Sharpie, there is no need to sound like a girl who is falling in love. Because that...that isn't going to happen.
I felt my phone buzz by my side and I picked it up and unlocked it.
