Recap:

“Danger, say hi to the camera!” I said through my laughter.

He continued to try and grabbed my phone. This went on until another voice was heard in the room.

“Sharpie Danielle Plouse! Why are you not at school!?”

We both froze as our eyes landed on my mother who was now standing in the doorway.

“Crap.” Was all I said.

“Oh hey mom. What are you doing home so early?” I shuddered after I unfreeze from the shock of seeing my mother standing in front of me.

My mother did not look very happy as her eyes fell upon Danger. Her eyes grew wide and her mouth slowly dropped open as if she realizes something.

“Wait, did you two skip school to have sex!?” My mother yelled in question.

My jaw dropped and i took a step away from Danger.

“What? No no no. I wasn't feeling good and Danger- I mean Garrett brought me home. That is it mom. I swear we were not having ...sex.” I quickly assured her.

I dared to steal a glance at Danger who stood there awkwardly shifting side to side. He looked over at me, but them I quickly looked away.

“Garrett, honey I think it is best if you just go on home. Tell your mother I will call her later.” My mother said.

Danger nodded his head and scurried out the door without even saying goodbye. I took this chance to hurry up the steps and to the safety of my room. Yet I didn't get past the first step.

“Sharpie, your father and I will be discussing this later. Go to your room and lay down since you are not feeling good.” I nodded my head at my mother request and scurried to my room.

I layed down on my bed and popped my headphones in. Great. I thought in my head. Everything was going perfectly fine until my mother found out.

‘I swear you won't get in trouble. Just let loose and relax for a day. Trust me it will be fun.’

I thought back to the words Danger had said to me when I found out we were skipping. Way to go Danger.

Yes it was fun, but we got caught. There is no telling what my mom is going to do to me.

My mom is usually easy going, but when it comes to school you go and don't complain. She just wants the best for me I know.

A little while later I yawned and sat up. I looked at my phone and saw that it was already 6 p.m, meaning that my dad was home and my parents have no doubt talked about me skipping. I am surprised they haven't called me dow-

“Sharpie, come down here please.”

Oops, looks like I spoke too soon. I unlocked my phone once more to see if Danger had texted me, but I had no messages.

Great lets just hope he isn't mad.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs I saw my parents sitting on the couch waiting for me. I let out a breath and rolled my eyes. Here we go.

I took my seat of the recliner that was adjacent to them and waited for one of them to speak.

“Honey, we did you feel the need to skip school? We both know you are not sick. Your education is the most important thing and I don't want to see you throw it away fro some boy.” My mother spoke softly.
