Aria's pov;
"And he just left you?" Jesy asked me, her eyes wide as she sipped on her coffee on our way to class. We didn't have a joined class together today, but we decided to meet and talk. Things are good between us now. We were talking about Harry's outburst two days ago.
"Yep" I nodded.
"I need to have a serious talk with that bastard" Jesy said.
"You know, I'm over it. I have fully accepted that life hates me and I think I need to move on and embrace it. I am seriously mad at him for bullshitting me so much, I'm not even upset or sad. I mean, I am, but I'm more angry than frustrated. He can't do that, he has no right!" I complained to her.
"Don't hate me if I say it makes sense, but it does in my head. But he did it the wrong way. He has a million other ways to keep you safe and he chose the worst" She said.
"Keep me safe from what?" I asked her.
"His surroundings. Stone. You know how this works by now. All the illegal things" She said.
"I'm capable of protecting my own damn self anyway. Stone is just an attractive bad guy that thinks guns are toys. But I think he's a whimp" I said.
"Oh, he's not. Please don't look into it. Give Harry a taste of his own medicine and do as he said. It will hurt him like a motherfucker. Just live your life, babe, that's all I have to say. I'm just happy that it made you feel better when you talked to Harry about Mark" She said and stopped in front of her class.
"I feel way better. Like a weight is lifted off my shoulders. Anyway, this is your stop, so see you later?" I asked her.
"Sure thing, have a decent class" She said and smiled.
"You too, bye!" I said. I walked up the stairs to the next floor and turned to the right. I was always a bit early for class, unless I slept in, but this time someone was there before me. It was this guy, with glasses and a scarf. He was eye candy. And he reminded me of Harry. Great.
"I'm sorry, are you lost?" I asked him. He was looking around, the poor thing must be new, he reminds me of myself when I got here. Like a lost puppy, but he's handsome and I look like trash.
"Uh, no? I'm not quite sure. They told me the Photography major class was here" He said. He looks like a sophisticated photographer, I'll give him that.
"It's here, you're safe. You just saved yourself from embarrassment. If it was anybody other than me, they would taunt you" I said, sitting down at my usual seat at the front.
"Thanks. I'm new" He said.
"Hi, new, I'm Aria" I joked.
He laughed lightly. "I mean, I am new here"
"I'm not stupid. I was joking. And I kind of figured, you looked like an adorable lost puppy" I said.
"Adorable?" He asked.
"Don't take it so badly, it's a compliment, new guy" I said.
"I'm Daniel" He said.
"Mid year transfer?" I asked him.
"Yeah" He sat down next to me.
"Been there, done that. It's a friendly college, don't worry" I said.
"Good to hear. Aria, you said?" He asked.
"Yes" I nodded. He seemed nice. And very handsome with his brunette hair and blue-green eyes.
"I like your name" He said.
"Thanks, yours is good too" I said and he shook his head, laughing lightly.
