'I love you' boy

He’s the new boy

Slightly pudgy,

Tall and blond

His blue eyes catch yours.

You think he’s weird,

He thinks you’re hot.

You avoid eye contact,

His attention is all yours.

He makes dumb jokes,

You fake a laugh.

He loves you,

But you don’t love him back.

You hide behind others

He calls you out

You ignore him

He adores you.

He follows you around,

You shake him off.

He is a heat-seeking missile,

Hunting for your love.

~ Winter ~

The seasons change

But he does not

He loves you so

You love him not.

He is clingy,

You don’t know what to do.

So you turn to friends,

Who cannot help you.

Then it stops…

He asks you out

You agree

There’s nothing to it

Its just sympathy.

He is happy,

you are trapped

cannot get out

and have to choose.

make him happy,

or be free from him.

you get shaky,

you palms start to sweat,

as he tells you he loves you,

and he's the best you'll ever get.

The choice is made.

you scoff at the boy

avoid him at all costs

He stumbles and falls of his Damn

high horse and breaks down.

You think it's over

You think you've won

but he assures you

the fight has only begun.

~in dedication to the boy I hate may he figure it out on his own~
