I woke up to the sound of the door being closed. I quickly got up to check if there was some kind of robber in my house, but nobody was home. I looked out the window and saw Beau and Elaine driving away somewhere.
"How cute," I muttered to myself.
I freshened up and made myself some healthy breakfast. I made a "fruit salad" which included strawberries, blueberries, bananas and some raisins along with oatmeal.
"Damn girl. Lets take a picture of this hot stuff," I said as I ran to my room to get my new camera. It was my new Canon EOS Rebel model XSi.
I took the picture and it looked so perfect. I've always loved photography, but it was a inner hobby. I really didn't like to show others the pictures I took because then people would bother me about it. I just decide to stick to being a girl who loves drawing as a "outer" hobby. I was always proud about my drawings, I was never ashamed to show them. Photography just made me really happy.
I ended up taking so many random pictures of things in my house. I got bored so I decided to go to the nearby park. I just wore my grey crewneck and some black sweats because it was pretty chilly outside.
I walked around taking pictures of flowers and the sky, but I wanted to take pictures of something interesting. I looked around not so amused until I saw these big trees. I walked in really deep into the park to the woods. It was so quiet, I liked it. I continued to walk inside deeper and deeper until it came to an end. As I walked out, I saw this big field with a ton of blossoms. All sorts of colors. I don't know why I had never been here but I loved it so much, I wish I could stay here forever. I walked around feeling worry-free. It was literally perfect. It was like those movies with a perfect sunny day, a big grassland, flowers, chirping birds and with that cute couple... Unfortunately, I was alone. But it still felt perfect.
Actually, I thought I was alone until I spotted another guy on the opposite side of the huge field. He was taking pictures too.
I ended up taking a billion pictures of the flowers until I spotted one of the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. It was a pink rose with tints of baby blue and lavender.
"Wow. I didn't know these even existed. I should find the perfect angle for this," I said to myself as I adjusted my camera.
I kneeled on one leg and focused on just that one flower.
"Piece of gold. Isn't it?" someone said behind me.
I turned around to see who it was.
"Luke? What are you doing here?" I said as I got up.
"Carrie? I didn't know you liked to take pictures? And damn, that's a sick ass camera."
"Umm, thanks. Yeah I just kinda.. take pictures.. when I'm bored."
"Me too. Do you need help with the picture you were trying to take? I'm sorry I interrupted you," he said as he stepped forward.
"No I'm fine I just need to figure out..." I said as I felt his grip on my shoulder. He adjusted me more to the right.
"Kneel down and direct your camera lower and to the right," he slightly whispered in my ear.
His voice was so sexy and tempting. The way he held me with his slightest touch, it just felt so right.
"Now take it." He instructed me.
I took the picture and quickly got up as he removed his hands off my shoulder. I checked it out and the picture looked so perfect.
"Luke. Look at this. It's incredible."
He grabbed the camera slightly touching my hands as he took it and he checked it out. I looked at him as he was looking. He always looked so interested in everything and it was just so cute. He was cute.. Psshh who am I kidding? He's gorgeous.
He looked up at me and caught me getting mesmerized in his eyes. We had this moment, we didn't look anywhere, but each others eyes. I was about to back away, until I felt this warmth touch my lips. It was like static electricity go right through me. We stayed lip-to-lip for about 20 seconds.
I freaked out, not knowing what I was doing, and backed away. We just stood there.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.." he muttered.
"No no, it's okay Luke. I kinda got lost in your eyes so I guess it's my fault.."
"I got lost in your eyes too. They're like blue marble. Prettier than anyones eyes I've seen before."
He made me blush so hard it wasn't even funny. "Shut up!" I said as I laughed and started walking the other direction.
"Hey! I'm not lying!"
"Whatever!" I yelled.
"Come back here Carrie. I need to see them eyes again."
He made me laugh so hard, my stomach couldn't help but hurt.
"Nope nope nope. You have to come to those eyes yourself if you want to see them again." I said as I started skipping across the field.
"OKAY. I RUN REALLY FAST, SO GET READY BECAUSE IM COMING!"
I turned around to see Luke running towards me. I ran for my life and couldn't help but laugh because it was hilarious. It's like a little game of tag. He ran really fast actually, and obviously, he caught up to me and grabbed me from behind and swinged me around.
"I told you I wanted to see your eyes," he said as he got closer.
"Well there you go. You got to see them. Now I need to go home loser," I told him as I pushed him back playfully.
I ran to grab my camera that was on the ground and I started walking away.
"WHEN WILL WE MEET AGAIN?" He yelled as I walked into the woods.
"WHENEVER YOU WANT." I yelled back.
I walked away wanting to look back. But I didn't because I knew he was still standing there. I wanted my body to turn around and run into his arms. I felt like I was in heaven. i was just stranded there in my thoughts.
I think.. I like Luke. A lot.
