It had been 5 days since that incident happened. I had been crying myself to sleep still not being able to believe what had happened, I was getting better tho. I had been sitting home and I hadn't stepped out of the house even once. But, it was time to go out and go and get some groceries. I just quickly took a shower to freshen up. I wore an over-sized mickey mouse jumper and some yoga leggings and some moccasins. I just decided to put my hair up in a high ponytail and decided to wear some mascara so I wouldn't look so dead. The weather outside was still chilly but it wasn't as cold. I decided to walk there since it was pretty close.
I ended up arriving at the supermarket in 10 minutes of walking. It felt so much better just getting my workout sort of started. The market was pretty jam packed but I didn't need much so I should be able to get out asap.
I started browsing through the frozen foods and just got some frozen pizzas and some milk for my favorite cereal. The line was pretty long and I didn't want to wait so I went to the self scan.
I was done checking my items out. As I was walking outside, I recognized a car standing right outside the market. I looked through the window and saw Gina. I quickly walked to the car and knocked on the window. She quickly ran out of the car and gave me a big hug. It was so welcoming and I really needed that right now.
"Hi Carrie. How's it been sweetie?" she asked.
"Gina. I really missed you. It's been good. I just came to get a little bit of food since I was running out. Are you waiting for someone?" I said.
"Carrie you should come over some day to eat dinner. And yeah I'm just waiting for my sons Luke and Beau," she replied.
I didn't know she had kids. Hmm, I actually wanted to meet them.
"Ooh. I really want to meet them," I said eagerly.
"Oh well what do you know? There they are!" she said.
As I turned around, I observed the right one. He was pretty tan and his tattoos were quite attractive, he also looked pretty built. His green eyes stood out. They were gorgeous.
Then, I turned to the one to the left. He just looked a bit lighter skinned. His face just looked so innocent. His soft curls covering his face, his beanie and his lip ring. He was really cute.
"Boys, this is Carrie. I met her a few days ago. Greet yourselves boys!" she said to them.
"Hey. My name is Beau and this is my younger brother Luke," he said as he gave me a hug.
The other one didn't even bother to say hi. He just went and sat in the back seat in the car. If he didn't want to introduce himself, it's okay.
"Nice to meet you Beau. Anyways, I'll see you guys around," I said.
"Carrie. Here's my phone number. Text me tomorrow at 4 so you can tell me whether or not you can come to dinner tomorrow. See you soon hun," she said hugging me.
I hugged Gina back and decided to give Beau a hug since he was standing there awkwardly. As I was about to go, I turned to the car and spotted Luke looking at me through the window. I just waved at him and he gave me a smile.
I walked off thinking about whether or not I should go tomorrow. I think I'm gonna go. I haven't been at a family dinner ever since I had left my mom.
When I got home, I just sat on my bed and opened up by laptop and just browsed on twitter. Twitter was so boring. What's the point? It's just a place to fan girl. Well, I'm not a fan girl so I guess it wasn't a place for me. I quickly got bored and just shut my laptop and sat there.
I better look for something good to wear tomorrow. I was nervous for some reason.
I don't know why, but Luke was on my mind.
