He's Such An Adorable Idiot

I gave a smile to myself, Gumball was asleep, I mean I guess it was pretty late... he's such an adorable idiot...I thought to myself as I watched him sleep. His hair was ruffled up, his mouth was agape showing his two fangs, his ears twitched as he dreamt. I felt myself giggle silently as I watched the Cat Boy, his tail swished as well, causing my eyes to follow it.

Tomorrow was the weekend, I guess I didn't really need to sleep...but I was sort of tired after today. Gumball caused his usual mischief, which is always funny, but we get in trouble a lot! Today we had detention because Gumball and I thought it would be funny to mock Ms. Simian, and we started to throw pencils by her feet, which was a big mistake because she slipped and fell and we were sent to the Principal's office.

My eyes returned to Gumball, my face grew warm while I watched him sleep. I liked the Cat Boy, actually no... I loved that boy. Gumball just didn't know... nor do I really want him to know either... Because I was afraid of the fact that he'd never love me and Penny would win him over. I didn't like her, not one bit!

I rolled my eyes, I didn't want to think about Penny, or I might begin to rant. Gumball was letting out soft purrs, it made me giggle. I climbed out of my tank and wiped my hands dry. His purring soon stopped, which made me frown, I liked it.

I bent down, I planted a kiss on his nose, Nothing. I gave a smile and kissed his cheek, I was startled when he began purring once again. I looked back at him and planted a kiss on his other cheek. Darwin stop! That's the last one! I kissed his forehead, his eyes fluttered and I stepped back, he was still asleep. But I probably should stop in case he catches me.

I sat in my tank, I felt pleased with myself, Gumball wouldn't know, but I would know... I ran a hand through my orange hair. "Goodnight Gumball, Sleep Well." I tiredly murmured curling up.

The Next Day...

"Hey! Wake up!" Came a voice. I gave a grunt and swatted him away. Gumball. "Noooooo." I said squeezing my eyes tighter. "Nope! Too late! You're awake now!" Gumball said triumphantly. I gave him an annoyed glare but gave him a small smile. "Whatever." I said climbing out of my tank. I looked over at Gumball whom was already dressed, I wasn't dressed yet, so I headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

5 minutes later...

I walked out of the bathroom, I wore an orange hoodie with fish fins that poked out the sides, black shorts, and my usual green high tops. I wore them because Gumball gave them to me...they meant a lot to me.

Gumball greeted me, he was a bit taller than me, he was a lighter skin tone than me, he had fluffy cat ears in his head, blue hair, his classic turtle neck and his jeans, and his cat tail. "What do you want to do today?" He asked looking at me hopefully. I smiled. "Wanna just hangout outside?" I asked him. "Sure." He replied opening the back door so we could head outside.

I sat down on the grass, watching Gumball jump around the yard. I let out a laugh. "What're you doing?!" He looked at me. "I'm doing my dare because I chickened out last time when we played 'Dodge Or Dare'". I looked at him curiously. "And that dare was...?" I asked. "Pretend you're bouncing on a trampoline in public." He grinned as he bounced around. "But you're just around me!" I pointed out as I watched his hair flop around. "Yeah but we all know it's really embarrassing." Gumball added with a wink.

"Whatever, why don't we just start a new round of 'Dodge Or Dare?" I asked as I walked up and put my hands on Gumball's shoulders to keep him from bouncing. "Sounds good to me!" He said running off to find the game. I gave a little smile to myself, was there anything that Cat Boy didn't look cute doing?

Gumball flopped down on the ground once he arrived with the game. I happily sat beside him, it had been forever since we had played this game, so excitement tore at my stomach as Gumball unboxed the game. "I'm so excited! We haven't played this in so long!" I grinned as he shuffled the cards. "Same here bro!!!" He replied stacking the cards either in a 'Dodge' pile or a 'Dare' pile.

Gumball looked satisfied once he had finished. "Do you want to go first Darwin or should I?" He asked looking at me. "Why don't you, Gumball, I might need a demonstration to remember." I laughed. "It hasn't been thaaaaaaaat long!" Gumball piped up. "Mmmmm?" I said raising an eyebrow. "Okay fine! I guess it has been a while!" Gumball squeaked as he rolled his eyes but gave a smile.

Gumball picked up a card and gave a devious grin. "What's that look for?" I questioned looking at Gumball. He patted my back and looked at me. "Well well well, Darwin, my loyal friend, go grab some eggs from the fridge." Gumball instructed with a mischievous grin of his. He's an adorable idiot, I told you so!!! I snatched the card from him and read it. "'Egg Ms. Simian's house?'" I asked looking at him. Gumball nodded. "Since I Dodged the last time, I'm going to do these without protests!" He declared as he stood up.

I laughed mockingly and went inside to grab eggs, Nicole, Richard, and Anais were out for the day, shopping probably...because Richard ate most of the food in the house! I picked up the carton and handed them to Gumball. "I'm doing this with you!" I smiled. He nodded. "Let's do it bro!" He said grabbing my hand and then running. I felt my face go warm as I ran with him to Ms. Simian's house.
