Forever - Embry Call FF

Chapter 10

"Rosalie, pass the morphine."

"Carlisle said the placenta must have detached. He's coming as fast as he can, but-"

"We'll have to do it."

"Rose! Let the morphine spread."

"There's no time. He's dying."

"Get him out, now!" Everything is a blur. A crazy, insane, chaotic blur. There's so much going on, so much to worry about, that I don't know what to do. I see Rosalie staring at the blood scalpel and I fear for what might happen. Alice drags her outside, away from the smell, leaving just Edward, Jacob, and I to deliver the baby. Edward suddenly bites into Bella's stomach, and I turn away.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." I rush out the room, falling to my knees outside. I empty my stomach into a bush, wiping my mouth with the sleeve of my jacket. The sound of leaves crunching causes me to stand up. A gust of wind blows in my face and Carlisle, Esme, and Emmett are suddenly standing next to me. They glare at the wolves, standing in a protective stance. My eyes sweep over the wolves, my heart breaking when I see Embry. "Please, don't do this." He only looks away from me.

Alice and Edward join and a fight breaks out. I stand to the side, gaping at the scene before me. I remember something Billy said once, something about the imprints. I hear a painful yell, and I run to it, standing in front of Esme. The wolf, Paul I realize, snarls at me. When he doesn't attack, I smirk. My plan had worked. A large, brown blur flies over us, landing in front of Sam.

"Jacob." I breathe out.

"Jacob imprinted." Edward calls out. "They can't hurt her. It's their most absolute law." The wolves slowly retreat back into the woods.

"Embry!" I yell. "Please!" Nothing. I break down, falling to my knees. Sobs rack my body, my shoulders shaking uncontrollably. I clutch my chest, the pain seeming to intensify. I may have been angry at Embry, but I don't want to lose him. I need him. I can't do this alone. Warm arms wrap around my body, pulling me into their chest. I cling to his shirt so tightly I'm positive it's going to rip. His tears leave hot trails down my arms, his hands rubbing up and down my back.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He chokes out.

"Me too." I cry into his neck, wrapping my arms around his waist. "Please don't leave me. Please don't leave us." I feel him nod his head, tightening his grip around me.

"Never."

And Bam! There is the end of Breaking Dawn Part Uno! Th next chapter will be part dos. And if it wasn't obvious, the guy at the end was Embry. So I have a little question: are any of you interested in knowing a little about me? If so, don't be afraid to leave question and I will answer them in the next weekish.
