Forever - Embry Call FF

Chapter 13

Kay, so before I begin I'm just letting y'all know that I won't be writing the actual labor part. I'll write a little about like before and stuff but not the actual thing cause I got no clue what happens during labor and it be weird to google. So yeah, here's the chapter.

Embry rushes me into the hospital, pushing the wheelchair as he speeds down the halls. I cry out in pain as a contraction occurs, gripping the arms of the chair tightly. The pack, my dad, and Sue Clearwater run behind us, Dad keeping a hand on my shoulder. He flags down a nurse, who escorts us to the nearest available room. Dad and Embry are the only ones allowed, the others forced to stay in the waiting room. An hour later I'm laying on the bed, trying not to cry as yet another contraction hits.

"Oh gosh, are you okay? Do you need anything? What can I get for you?" Embry worriedly asks, taking my hand in his.

"Embry?"

"Yeah?"

"I need you to shut up."

"Oh, right, okay, can do, I can do that." He rambles, sitting down next to me. The door bursts open and I lift my head, hoping it's the doctor. But sadly, it is not. Instead, a young brunette enters, hitting her hip on the door knob.

"Bella?" She turns to look at me, a smile gracing her lips. I take in her appearance. Since her transformation her hair has become longer and brighter with more volume and her figure has become defined.

"Lucy, I came as soon as I heard. How're you feeling?" She walks over to me, taking my other hand.

"I'm fine, what are you doing here?"

"Carlisle let me come, he said I'm doing well and should be more than able to control myself." The door opens again, a doctor coming in this time.

"You must be Lucille. I'm Doctor Sanders, I will be the one delivering your baby. It seems you're almost fully dialated so we can begin right now."

I smile down at my little girl, loving how adorable she is. Embry sits besides me, holding one of her tiny hands.

"She's so beautiful." I whisper, lightly tracing her cheek. Alani smiles a little before going back to sleep.

"Just like you."

"You're so cheesy." I scoff at Embry. I giggle when he begins to pout. "But yeah, I am beautiful."

"Even when you look like absolute hell."

"So charming."
