Peters P.O.V
(During gym, but in Peters view:))

We partnered up, we were doing this Captain America thing. I went with Ned, which left (y/n) out. I felt so bad, but she's a tough girl, she can survive.

She found a partner eventually and we started the challenge. There were different stations, I was doing sit-ups and Ned was holding my feet, to make it easier. He was asking me a insane amount of questions about being Spider-Man.

I looked over at (y/n), it looked like....her and her partner were flirting!? I watched her do a chin up in awe. Just then, she slipped. I quickly got up when her partner caught her...bridal style.

In that moment my heart started to ache. The thought of losing her to another guy never crossed my mind. If I can't build up the courage to do or even BE something with (y/n) she will have already been taken.

I looked down at my feet.

Oh, and Ned was there.

"What's up bro?! We need to keep going or else the gym teacher (insert name here) will see!" Ned said franticly "I can't afford another bad mark in gym!"

"R-right yeah sorry" I said, my voice croaking. Ned lookie confused, then he looked at (y/n). Now everything made sense to him.

"Dude, you have to tell her! Or else someone could beat you to it!" Ned exclaimed while he held my feet for sit ups again.

"I know, but right now, Liz is a good cover" I said doing sit-ups again.

Liz was talking about having wanting to have Spider-man come to her party, when Ned blurred-

"Peter knows spider man!" Everyone stopped and looked, except (y/n), phew.

"Why don't you invite him to the party then right Liz?!"Flash said

"Yeah" Liz said shrugging

"C'mon Peter, invite your friend, we would all love to meet him" Flash said

I've had enough of this

"Yeah, I will invite him! Thanks!" I blurted, ...WHY DID I SAY THAT

Your P.O.V

*Bringggg*

The bell echoed around the gym walls signifying the end to another day. I threw my backpack over my shoulder and heard all my homework scrunch inside.

"I'll see you around Axle!"

"Bye (y/n)! See you around!"

I walked over to Ned and Peter who had there backpacks on already. I snuck up behind them.

"Hey."

"OHGOSH!"

"AHH"

I don't think I've ever heard Ned scream in such a high voice! I laughed and wrapped my arms around their shoulders and laughed.

"You should have seen your faces!" I laughed at them

"Don't ever do that again!" Ned warned shaking his (index) finger at you. Peter just stayed quiet and looked away. You looked at him with you looked at him with a scrunched up nose.

"Everything alright Pete?"

"Who was that?"

He asked bluntly, not even acknowledging my question.

"Wh- oh, his names Axle, he's new, well a transfer to be exact! from Texas!"

"Mphm...you seem to know a lot about him..."

"Yeah well we were partners in gym so" I made a clicking noise with my toung when I finished my sentence. I notice Peter still looked pissed.

"Oh c'mon Pete, he's really nice!"

Peter just kinds nodded, while Ned stood there awkwardly.

What has gotten into Peter!? Me and Axle are just friends! We seriously just met like and hour ago!

"Well, um, me and (Y/n) need to start working on our project, see you tomorrow Peter!" Ned said quickly waving to Peter, breaking the awkwardness with one sentence, grabbing (y/n) and walking away with her.

"Your welcome" Ned whispered to me as we walked away. I lightly laughed but then looked down.

~time skip to Ned's house~

We have been working on the project for and hour and a half, so we decided to take a break and just hangout, and talk about stuff. Now that I think about it, me and Ned haven't hung out alone in a long time...

"(Y/n)?"

"Yeah?" I responded, hanging upside down off Ned's bed

"Do you like Peter?"

I blushed at the sudden question

"N-no, he's just my close friend!?"

"Well, I think he feels something for you"

I blushed even more

"Ned, what makes you think that!?" I questioned

"The way he looked at you with Axle today, and when he talked to you after, doesn't that just scream jealousy to you!? You can't tell me that doesn't mean something?!"

You sighed and slumped down on his bed

"I don't know Ned, I don't wanna ruin the friendship we have right now?"

"Yeah, but keep that in mind (y/n)"

"Hm" You hummed

"Just, a least forgive him for today? I don't think he's used to seeing you with other guys" He laughed

"I guess..."

"We should get back to the project" Ned said, lifting the mood "This project is not going to make itself!"

"Haha!" You said wrapping your arm around Ned

"Lets do it!" You fist pumped the air.

The rest of the time was filled with laughs, food and our damn science project.
