Okay, I've been neglecting you guys because of her and I getting together. But now I've come to realize she's a fucking bitch. Well, in my opinion. And this was going to be a regular straight forward romance, right? Well this is going to be the longest chapter. Everything's going to flip. And you all might get a bit mad at me. (: oh well. Oh, and my niece that really does have cancer.. This chapter is dedicated to her.. She died last wednesday.. I love you, Savannah. RIP my little soldier. <3

Damien's POV

We walked along that bridge and through the pathways of the forrest til it was dark. We talked about all the pretty things and all the shitty things. Yes, I did just quote Never Shout Never, but we really did! She's amazing. She told me about how her mother treats her unfairly. She loves her uncle. She doesn't like how she is, she's just that way and can't help it. She told me about how she has cancer and her estimated death is in five years...

Savannah... Hers is in a few months... After three years of fighting it...

I looked at the ground sadly as we were holding hands and walking back to my car.

She looked at me and touched my shoulder. "Damien..?"

I looked up, apparently it was obvious that I was about to cry. She stopped and immediately hugged me.

I lost it, I just cried.

She held me closely and kissed my head. She was so sweet. I stopped crying and held her hand. We walked up to my car and I opened her door for her. She got in and I walked around to my side and got in, started the car, and drove off.

"Damien, you-"

"No. Don't try. You can't help. You can't fix everything. I already know. Maybe you could comfort me, but even then the pain never truly goes away.."

She stayed silent the rest of the ride and I dropped her off at her house.

Eli's POV:

"Ugh!" I closed the door behind me and ran up to my room. Mom isn't home, she's out again, but apparently she invited Dick over to babysit me.

"Shut the fuck up, Brat!" He spat at me from the living room.

"Hey, Dick. I just got home from a date with Damien. Just thought I'd let you know~"

"You know what?! I don't give a fuck what happens between you and that faggot!"

I stopped and fummingly stomped over to him. "If you ever call him a faggot again, I will fucking murder you."

He looked into my eyes, daringly. "I'd like to see you try, Princess."

We were staring at each other maliciously and then the door bell rang. We snapped out heads toward that direction and they hit each other. We both laughed and he helped me up to go get the pizza.

Woah, what? Mood swing. He's definitely on his period.

He paid the guy and patted my head like a little kid. "Time to eat.~" He said in a girly, motherly voice.

I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. "Don't do that!"

He smiled and hugged me. Hugged me? I stood there awkwardly. Then he whispered to me, "You know, I really don't care that you're with him.. We've been friends forever, Eli. That isn't going to change. Yes, I have more 'boyfriend/girlfriend' feelings for you, but I can set those aside and act brotherly towards you. Because I still care. Always have." He smiled his handsome smile at me. I almost died.

"Thanks, Dicky." I smiled back and then we sat at the table and chowed down.

For the first time ever since he was back, we talked about how it was in Italy (where he moved away to for three years), what it was like, how it ws different, the friends he made, how most people surprisingly talked in English and that they just had a funny accent.
