A new day

Scott's pov

I wake up to the smell of breakfast, I wonder who but then remembered what happened yesterday. I went downstairs to see lauren making breakfast, I saw good morning but, she didn't respond so I tapped her shoulder and see flinched like I was about to hurt her. So I ask her why she flinched then she told me the whole story of Mike. 

I felt so bad for her she didn't deserve that, to make it up to her I will get her anything she wants for today. I walk into the living room where she is and I asked what she wants to do today. She said anything I want to, so I said "today's the day you get to make a choice for yourself." I saw her face slightly light up but still stayed timid, she quietly said" I want to go the museum."

 I told her to get ready and for her to get ready but She had no clothes for so again I give her my clothes. I told we are going clothes shopping for her. She got super duper excitied, like she just got a unicorn as a pet. I smiled and started getting ready

Time skip to the museum

Lauren was so excited to learn about the exhibits, I have never seen somebody that excited to learn. We were about to go to the mammals exhibit but they had to close it for renovations. Lauren got mad so I said I would get her some ice cream since this is the first time in a long time, so I wanted to make it perfect.

Time skip  to the clothing store 

It was giant inside the store and since I don't pick out women's clothing I'm lost, lauren was lost too. It was so funny, we laughed so hard that everyone in the store could hear us. We left and got our ice cream and started heading home. We decided to watch a movie and I put my arm around her and she started blushing like crazy. We both fell asleep while watching the movie, this really was the perfect day.

Laurens pov

Today was the best day ever and I think that I can trust scott now, he proved himself to me.
I think I might actually like scott, I just hopes he likes me back or  it will be awkward.
