Jacks pov
Jack was completely confused. This beautiful girl was crying and hugging him for a reason definitely unknown to him. All he knew was that her name was (f/n). He just sat there letting you hold him and cry on him till you calmed down. You sighed before pulling back. Jack felt extremely cold for some reason and frowned as you pulled away.
"I'm sorry that was probably extremely awkward for you." She laughed lightly. Jack smiled and shook his head.
"I'm Jack Skellington by the way. The Pumpkin King." He said softly. You looked up at him wide eyed.
"So? What are you exactly? I mean not to be rude but I know you're a skeleton, but how?" You asked slightly confused. Jack looked you up and down.
"Are you, by any chance, human?" He asked. You weren't sure how to answer that. Of course you were! But what does that mean here? Would he kill you? Send you back?
Jack seemed to get the answer he was looking for with your silence. Jack jumped up and moved from side to side as your eyes followed him.
"How did you get here?" He quickly asked.
"Um there was this door with a pumpkin on it and a jumped in." Jack stopped and walked up to you closer.
"You saw the doors?"
"Yes."
"And you can see me now?"
"Yes." There was a long pause of silence till Jack broke it in a fit of .... Curiosity? He paced again and again mumbling and looking at you every so often.
"Jack?" You asked. He stopped and looked down at you. "What's going to happen to me?" You asked your eyes filled with worry. Jack smiled and put his hand out for you to take. You took it and he lightly helped you up on your feet.
"Don't worry (F/N) no harm will come to you. After all you are the pumpkin queen."
You stopped moving and just stood there, your hand still in Jack's.
"Wh-what?" You asked softly wandering if you heard him wrong. He laughed and smiled brightly.
"Here walk with me, it will take a while to explain."
*time skip!*
"Oh ok. So in Halloween Town the only rightful rulers have to be human." Jack nodded, you were almost to the gate of the town.
"So you were human to when you came here?" Jack nodded again. You didn't want to probe too much so you just asked one more question.
"Jack. Why me? Why did I find this place and not anyone else?" Jack stopped and looked down at you.
"Were you an outcast? Scary to others? Misunderstood?" You looked up into his big black eyes. Jack smiled and patted your head.
"Well here no one makes fun of us for how different or scary we are. It's truly a blessing to us." You stopped at a big black gate. Jack slowly pushed it open.
It was amazing and extremely frightening at the same time. Werewolves, witches, vampires, and more were running around from place to place living strangely normal lives. You and jack walked along the street till you stopped to rest at a fountain that was spitting out mucky water.
"So what do you think?" Jack asked leaning forward in excitement. You looked around one more time before Jack caught your gaze.
"Its-Its..... absolutely amazing." You said laughing a little. Jack clapped his hands together.
"I know it's a long shot asking you to do something like leave your family and the life that you had before but-"You snorted.
"What family? What life?!" You stood up and walked over so that you stood right in front of jack. "I'd rather serve here then live for one more day where I came from!" You smiled pulling Jack of the fountain and began to bounce around. Who knew your life could ever get this good?
Sally pov
Sally stayed quite behind a wall watching Jack walk around with 'that'. Oh she longed to have Jack's heart but she knew she was not human and never would be. But there had to be some way to get Jack to notice her and maybe even love her.
She turned around about to give up when she remembered Oogie Boogie . He could do most anything if she helped him with something in return. He could get rid of you and keep Jack all to herself. 'Oh yes this is going to be good.' She smiled to herself.
