This Wasn't In The Plan

Chapter 3

I just finished talking to Rick, everything sounded fine, he said everything was fine with Renee and Chels. They acted completely normal around himself and Kyle, but they didnt ask the girls to many questions. He had just dropped Kyle home and was now handing back to his place. After talking to Rick I thought nothing of it, he said everything was fine and nothing seemed strange. 

It has been a few hours of tanning next to the pool, loving the feeling of being on a cruise ship. Bec and I decided to go back to our room and start getting ready for dinner, and to check up on Carrie, she had left us to go back to our room just after she spoke to Kyle on the phone. She said everything was fine with Kyle, but I wasnt persuaded. I made a mental note about asking her what happened, a bit later when it was just myself and Carrie.

Bec and I arrived back to our rooms and found Carrie painting her nails. "My turn next!!" I yell out to her as I walk through the door. She just laughs. Once Carrie finishes her own nails I come sit down next to her with the nail polish I have chosen, it was called 'Hot Stuff' and it was bright pink.

"I am going to go for a walk, see what I can find!" Bec exclaims to Carrie and I, as she grabs her sunnies. "Okaay!" I say and wave a quick good bye, "Have fun!" Carrie says smiling. As Bec leaves I decide that now is the time to ask Carrie about her earlier phone call with Kyle. "Rick said everything was fine with the Renee and Chels, which is good." I say to her and she just nods her head, while focusing on painting my nails. I decided to continue, seeing that she wasnt going to say anything, "What did Kyle say when you spoke to him?" I asked, giving her a small smile. "Oh yeah just said that everything was fine with Chels and Renee, and told me that Rick had just dropped him home." She said quietly. That wasn't all he had said and I could tell. "What else did he say?" I asked her, "Nothing, that was all." Carrie said, scriunching up her face when she noticed that her hands had started shaking and that she had messed up my nail. "Carrie?" I said looking at her in the eye, "What else did he say, I know something else happened, now please tell me." Tears began sliding down her cheeks as she said "Kyle and I broke up.. We had this massive fight the other night, but I never told you. I thought we were all good after we both apologized to eachother, but obviously not." I got out of my seat across from her and ran over to give her a huge hug "Oh my gosh Carrie, are you okay? Of course you aren't okay! Let it all out to me, please!" I said, I hated seeing my best friend like this, we have been best friends since we only tiny, and I hated her being like this. 

BEC'S P.O.V.

I told Carrie and Mel that I was going for a walk around the ship, to check things out. I turned a corner and just as I did I bumped into someone, I looked up at the person that just nearly took me out, I was about to go off at them and tell them that they should watch where they are going. When I see him, he took my breath away thats how hot he was. He had blonde hair and a gorgeous smile, he was wearing black skinny jeans, and a black singlet that showed off his great body. "I am so sorry!" He said smiling at me. "Its okay!" I say, not really able to say any thing else. "I am Luke, and you are?" He says with a cheeky smile. "Oh yeah, I am Bec!" I say. "So Bec.." Luke smiles, "Would you like to go to tea with me tonight?" I smile as I say "I would love to!" Luke smiles that gorgeous smile again, "Great, meet you at the pool at 7?" he says, I smile and nod, "Sounds good!" I say. "Okay, well see you then" Luke says "Byee" I manage to say as I walk away. Oh my gosh, I think to myself! I know the girls are going to be happy with me going out on a date on the first night of the cruise instead of spending time with them but.. oh well! I walk back to my room, not able to thinl of anything except my date tonight.. It is a date, right? He didn't say it was but 'Go out to tea with me' still means date, right? It doesn't mean 'just friends' anyway. 

MEL'S P.O.V.

Bec walks through the door just as Carrie is finnishing a second coat on my nails. Carrie doesn't want Bec ro know about her break up with Kyle, just yet anyway. Which is fair enough, they weren't very close when you think about it. Bec looks very happy for some unknown reason, so I ask her why. "Why are you so happy?" I say. "I have a date" She smiles, "Ooh do you?" I say, thinking that this has probably worked out quite well, Carrie and I will just get room service and have a girly night, watching movies. "Yeah! I better start getting ready!" Becs exclaims, "Wait!" I say, she looks at me confused, "Whats his name?" I continue. "Oh!" Bec laughs, "Luke is his name!" she skips off.

I shiver, as the sound of his name circles around my head. It brings back memories, bad memories, memories I want to forget forever.

Heeey! Oooooh whats going to happen!! What are those memories I wonder! Ohh and sorry if there are any typos which I am sure there will be quite a lot, I will try fix up as many as I can. I hope everyone is enjoying this so far!

I wont be updating for a few days guys! Going to have a pretty packed weekend, so I wont have any time!
