This Wasn't In The Plan

Chapter 10

When I opened my eyes I was hoping that maybe everything had gone back to normal in my life, maybe things were right again.

But no.

I was wrong. It was still the same life that I was in before I fell asleep.

It was probably around 8pm and I couldn't believe I had actually slept that long. I decide to get up and go find something to eat, seeing as my stomach just growled at me.

As I got to the kitchen bench I seem a note left on it, it read

Mel :) Kyle Just came by to pick me up and we are going to go out for dinner and then probably a movie! Call me if you need me, there is still some pizza left in the fridge and I locked all the doors before I left! Should be back around 11ish! Love ya, Carrie ❤

I really don't like the idea of Carrie being out with Kyle, because he stated to me quite clearly before in the hospital that he was not the nicest guy around.

I have to call Rick, I haven't spoken to him for, I have no idea how long it has been actually, but I know I really need to talk to him. I have to make sure he is okay and I have to warn him about Luke and Kyle. I just wish he was here right now. It would be much easier.

He picks up on the 4th ring, with his normal 'hello'.

"Hello?" He says into the phone.

"Hey Rick!" I say, very excited to hear his voice.

"Oh my gosh! Mel! Are you okay?" Rick says rushed.

"Yeah I am fine, how are you? Are you okay? I need to tell you something!" I let out, equally rushed as his words.

"Yeah I am okay baby, I am just worried about you! What did you need to tell me?" He says in a more relaxed tone then before.

"Well, um Kyle came around to see me at the hospital, well he didn't come to see me, he came to get Carrie back, and when Carrie left to talk to the nurses he threaten me, and said that Luke was out to get you, Rick you need to be careful, I am worried about you now!" I sob into the phone.

"Hey baby, I am okay, and I will be okay! I won't let him hurt me I promise. Actually I was just planning to come up and see you, so I can be with you and look after you! Would that be okay?" I smile at Rick's words.

"Oh my gosh! Yes! Are you sure though?" I ask, hesitant.

"I am very sure!" He laughs, "I should be there tomorrow, I just found a flight, It leaves here at 7 in the morning."

"Yay!" I say, jumping up and down, "So I will see you tomorrow then!"

"You sure will bub! I better go, I will pack a few things then get to bed, I love you, so much, and I will see you tomorrow!" He says into the phone.

I smile and say, "Okay! Be safe! Text me when you are leaving, I love you."

After a few minutes of processing what Rick just told me, and not being able to wipe the smile off of my face, I decided to eat some tea and go to bed, I need as much sleep as I can get.

Whaaaaaaat! Whaaat is this?? An update! That's crazy!

Hahaha guys I am really sorry I haven't updated in a while! I have just lost all ideas for this story, so I am trying by best here!
