(I highly recommend playing the song attached. You'll know when to start it.)
I never thought I'd be one of those girls who panicked or rushed around for a school dance; but right now I've never felt so stressed out.
My right high heel has gone missing and I've been running around the house in panic mode in search for it. Amelia giggling every time I enter the living room.
"What's wrong mommy?" She questions with a toothy grin, holding Eli tightly to her chest.
"I can't find my shoe baby." I murmur in frustration. Sophie gets here in ten minutes to do my makeup and I've been running around the house for almost twenty.
Amelia erupts into a fit of laughter and points to the ceiling fan. I furrow my brows but follow her gaze nonetheless. My eyes land on the nude high heel sitting on one of the blades.
"What the fu-fudge." I mumble. "How the-Did you do that?" I continue, looking at her in amazement.
"It was Eli." She giggles.
I let out a sigh as I drag over the poof to stand on. "That bear better not be possessed, I've got enough shit going on." I mutter, quiet enough for Amelia not to hear me swear.
"Ding dong!" Sophie bellows as she barges in through the front door, nearly knocking me off the poof with fright.
"Aunt Sophie!" Amelia shrieks in delight at the sight of her Aunt.
"Hey pumpkin!" Sophie hauls Amelia up into her arms, repeatedly kissing her face; from her eyelids, nose and to her cheeks.
"Want to help me make your mom even more beautiful." She questions with a playful smile.
"She's already the prettiest mommy ever!" Amelia screeches throwing her hands up in keenness.

After just half an hour of different beauty tools, liquids and powders I'm staring at my flawless reflection.
"No wonder you're choosing beauty therapy as your major." I say in awe of Soph's work. Makeup really is a form of art when it's done as good as this.
"I'm glad you like it Ash. You look beautiful." She smiles brightly at me through the mirror and I smile back just as bright.
She did a beautiful yet simple natural look with a glossy nude lip and some individual lashes to accentuate my own.
"Go put on your dress. Jake and Ethan will be here soon." She shoo's me towards my bathroom where my dress is hanging on the shower railing.
The doorbell rings shortly after I exit the bathroom and I can vaguely hear my mom talking to the two boys downstairs.
"You ready?" Sophie questions as she applies another layer of deep red lipstick in the mirror.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I take a deep breath as Soph opens my bedroom door and begins towards the stairs.
"Yeah, we keep testing out new recipes until we find our best." I hear Ethan say to my mom just as the room goes silent and eight eyes are fixated on Sophie and I.
"Holy..." Jake murmurs, awestruck at Sophie's incredible appearance in her knee length dark blue dress with a dark lace over it.
Ethan and Jake stand confidently in black tuxedos beside my mom with Amelia propped up in her arms.
I make my way over to stand beside Ethan, who has yet to say a word.
"Hi." I whisper, nervously.
