Chapter 5

OMG OMG OMG!!!! Toby just called me pretty! Like, really pretty!
I could not stop smiling, but neither could he, my heart is melting, (at least it feels like it is,) this moment was perfect. Until, it wasn't, Toby and I both look up to the superiors coming our way, Crap. Sabrina, Ashley, and a bunch more superiors, and probably a few followers too. Sabrina has always had a crush on Toby, oh look! Another reason why I shouldn't like him! Great. "Toby! I've been looking for you everywhere! What are you doing over here?" Sabrina exclaimed, Toby just awkwardly smiled, (which made me feel a little better, I guess.) "look," she said in a quieter voice, "I know you didn't get assigned to a union, but that doesn't mean that you have to sit over here, with this nobody," she gestured to me. "Thanks," I muttered sarcastically. "That nobody, is named Juliet Ralston, and she is one of the kindest people I've ever met, so leave her alone," Toby stated as he stood up out of his chair. Sabrina was shocked, but, I was to. She raised her eyebrows and gave me the evil eye, then faked a smile at Toby, and walked off. My eyes directed on Toby, who seamed to be taking this harder than I was, if that's possible. "Thanks," I said, breaking the awkward silence, "no one has ever stuck up for me like that." "No problem," he said, and flashed me his signature smile. Then, we just sat there, staring into each other's eyes. His mouth wasn't smiling anymore, but his eyes were, for sure. He chuckled a little bit, and looked away. "What?" I asked. "I've figured it out, everything about you is beautiful," Toby said.
Well, there's that melting feeling again.
"Juliet," Toby started, I tilted my head in response, "I like you, a lot, you make me happy. You're different, and smart, and you're smile alone can make my day." I think I'm smiling ear to ear right now, "I like you too, Toby, a lot." I looked at the time, "well, I should probably start heading home," I said. "I'll walk you," he offered. As we started towards my house, he reached for my hand, and we held hands, all the way to my house.

Once we reached my front door, we said our goodbyes, and he went home. I could have passed out from happiness right then and there, but I managed to get up the stairs.

When I was about to go to sleep, my phone went off, I opened my phone to see, "everyday I spend with you is the new best day of my life. I can't wait for tomorrow. Goodnight, Jules," from Toby. As I went to sleep, I let the good thoughts of Toby, over take the bad thoughts of Sabrina, and I fell asleep smiling...
