The next day, I got out of bed thinking, "well, I got completely ditched by all my old friends, but look on the bright side, you get to see Toby again." Then that thought was followed by, "Jules! What are you doing!? You can't fall for a boy you just met! Even if he is super perfect, and funny, and really cute, like, really cute." Looking at the time, I realize I'm going to be late for school. I throw on a blue T-shirt that has my initials on the pocket, and some jean shorts, of coarse they aren't too short, (stupid school dress code.) Then I looked in my full body mirror and realize that I completely hate my outfit, so I change into a nice floral shirt, with a silver Eiffel Tower necklace, and black pants. I shove the book, click and you're there, by L. M. Butler, into my book bag, and head to school.
In math, I'm pretty sure we talked about algebraic equations, but I'm not totally sure, I was daydreaming about lunch with Toby the entire time. The bell rings and I sprint to lunch, so I can see him.
I sit down at the same table as yesterday, and start eating my not-so-great-and-mostly-burnt slice of pizza, then I give up and decide I'll just eat when I get home. I look up and see Toby walking towards me! His sparkling blue eyes are staring right at me, I couldn't help but smile back. "Hey, Juliet!" He says. Wait, I never told him my name, OMG HE KNOWS MY NAME. "Hey, Toby," I reply, trying to keep my cool. "So... Is this the official 'invisibles' table?" He asks playfully. "I guess so," I respond, "unless you want to eat your pizza in the bushes." He laughs, and actually eats the pizza, I will never understand how boys can just consume things like that. I look up from my daze, and see Toby staring at me, but not the bad kind of staring, the good kind, when you can't help but smile. I produce a small laugh, and look away, but when I glanced back he was still looking at me. "What?" I laugh. "Nothing," he replies, "you're just really pretty."
