I sighed, arriving home all sweaty and smelly. I needed a shower...
I lifted my arm and sniffed the air.
"Aww, yuc-" I started coughing. I really did need a shower. I ran up before I could be found downstairs.
I tore off my gross clothes, which were all wet. I smelled disgusting, and I almost threw up at the smell... and that's saying a lot.
I opened the bathroom door and walked in, turning on the shower and hopping in before the water had fully turned to my preferred temperature. Although... the cool water felt quite nice and I groaned, tilting my head back to let the water run down my face and through my hair. I felt fresh, and tilted my head down to open my eyes, switching the dial to the cold side so I could appreciate and bask in the cold water.
My relief was shortcut as I remembered what the librarian had said.
I was becoming to think that she was a spy of some sorts...
But then, she had said not to tell ANYONE... That meant the police and FBI as well. Which meant... either the librarian wasn't a legal spy or... She didn't want anyone to know (obviously). And she was in league with my Grandma... That much was obvious...
That's when it hit me. My mom had grounded me, for so long... she would be able to hide me and see if anything around the new house would be dangerous when we got to Phoenix. And Drake was moving too, to Phoenix...
Why were we moving? Dad found a new... job... And Mom did too. Were they spies, too? There was only one way to find out... I had to ask them.
