Yoongi found himself curious about the younger slytherin kid by the name of Park Jimin. He's no stranger to that name; he was well aware of the younger's talent and flirt. He sat atop his bed with his legs crossed, a pencil dangling from his lips, as he tried to focus on anything. Lyrics, even homework, but nothing. He could not get Jimin out of his mind.

"Alright, well I'll just sleep then, fuck homework." Yoongi mumbled to himself as he moved his books to the floor and went to go shower up. He stepped in the shower and let the water hit his face, trying to forget about everything on his mind: his exams, his classes, his crush,

Wait, no.

Crush?!

He for certain did not have a crush on this "Jimin" kid. Sure, Yoongi definitely thought he was cute, but feelings? When he's barely even met him? No way.

He returned to his room and laid on his back, head to the ceiling. He had taken a notion one day to paint the underside of the canopy bed so that he had something interesting to fall asleep too. There were sunset colored swirls everywhere, spanning from soft yellows and fiery oranges to intense purples and pinks. Then, as the purple and pink swirls got darker, the color transitioned to a navy blue, with little silver glimmers for stars. No one ever pegged Min Yoongi for an artist, but then again, no one really knew all of him. He loved to stare up at the paint. Whenever he was feeling anxious or stressed, he stared at his art, calming himself down.

Although right now, no matter how hard he tried, he could not shut his mind up about Jimin.

Classes the next day flew by unexpectedly. Yoongi hardly noticed when he found himself at the end of his day. His day had gone by quietly, with no occurence of Jimin anywhere.

Yoongi retreated to the common room to actually do his homework this night. He spread his books out near the glass view of the lake, and started humming to make up for the lack of his playlist. He grabbed his glasses from his bag. He didn't like wearing them, so he most often kept them a secret, but today, he actually needed clear vision. Around three hours later, he finished and found himself bored out of his mind. I could use some piano practice, why not take a trip to the music room? He collected his folders and notebook and stuffed them into his bag. He slung it over his shoulder, stuffed his hands in his coat pockets, and walked off.

He walked into the halls and, since his head was focused on the ground, he ran into a stranger, quite literally. "Oh, sorry." Yoongi said, a bit rushed, before the stranger grabbed his arm to stop him from walking. "You should pick your head up when you walk, you know. You might actually make some friends." Yoongi finally turned to face the stranger.

Jimin.

"Oh, hey Jimin, I didn't see you there." Yoongi scratched the back of his neck, leaning his head back and giving a smile. "Well, you might if you picked that pretty face of yours up." Jimin retorted, not even missing a beat, folding his arms and propping himself up against the wall. Yoongi was astonished that his move didn't make the younger all flustered. That was his signature move! Everyone gets flustered! Huh, interesting. "I'm pretty, huh?" Yoongi asked. "Very." Jimin replied, keeping his cool. "Ah, well thanks. I'm actually headed off somewhere, so I'll see you around, okay?" Yoongi waved. "Absolutely." Jimin replied and began walking back to his room, finally letting himself smile and turn a deep crimson.
