Sans' POV

He watched over her. She trained to fight a lot. It seemed she was always ready for a fight. Sans also noticed she barely ever ate. He remembered how thin she was when he'd washed her up. She wasn't healthy, but she was very strong. Sans still grew hot every time he thought of her body. She never seemed to notice. Sans felt nervous whenever she wasn't in sight. She could be doing something to hurt herself or him. Sans kept a close eye on her, but she seemed more at ease after a few days. He felt comfortable around her mostly. Sans still remembered how she had asked him to kill her that one day. Sans still shuddered at the thought. He didn't know why he felt it to be so horrifying, he just...did.

One day he couldn't find her around. He checked the roof last and found her sitting with her legs dangling over the edge. Sans grew nervous.

"kid? w-what are you doing? you're very close to the edge." Sans asked worriedly. She didn't reply. Sans carefully came closer. "(Y/N), please answer me." He said.

"Ever wonder, how far you could fall, before you died?" She asked. Sans felt his heart skip a beat. "I mean, all it takes is just, one, push." She said. Sans felt panic sink in.

"k-kid, j-just step away from the edge alright? i-i'm right here." He said. She shifted closer to the edge.

"All it takes is one push and everything will be over right?" She said. Sans was horrified.

"k-kid! you aren't thinking clearly! p-please stop it!" He said, practically begging.

"Why? It doesn't matter. I'm not important anyway. It'll just be easier if...I......." She said leaning closer. Sans knew he could use his magic, but what's to say she wouldn't try something else and he wasn't there to stop her? No, he had to talk her out of this.

"n-no it won't! this won't change anything. kid, this will make it worse! please....step away from the edge."

"How do you know it's not going to fix anything? Besides, that means you're safe from me. You'll live and I'll die....." She said.

"(Y/N), please don't do this! people do care about you! this isn't the answer! believe me....i know...." He said. She turned slightly.

"You....do?" Sans sighed.

".....yes......" She looked sad. She started to push away from the edge. Sans looked up shocked. She walked over to him and hugged him. He hugged her back. They both fell to their knees.

"I'm....so.....sorry." She cried softly.

"it's ok kiddo. j-just....never do that again." Sans said, crying too.

They both went to bed the night filled with sorrow and confusion. Sans felt guilt. He could picture her smiling, if she ever did. He thought of how happy she could possibly look if she tried. The sunlight on her face, the breeze in her hair as she sat on top of a lush green hill. Sans opened his eyes returning to reality. "i'm so sorry kid. i wish i could make you feel that way again. i will bring a smile out of you kid. i promise."

Your POV

You laid there silent tears still rolling down your cheeks. Your heart ached. That day, you'd seen a flash of your father. Sans was changing everything, but you didn't know what to do anymore. You cried silently thinking of him and how he used to do things with you. He could always make you laugh. Then you stared feeling sleepy. You slipped into a dreamless sleep. You had no idea what was going to happen, but that wouldn't matter in the end.

Cherry's POV

They walked together towards the woods. They had to find Sans. They started searching together. Soon after Cherry got an idea.

"Papyrus! Come here!" She called. He hurried over.

"WHAT IS IT?" He asked.

"I have a friend that can find him." She said. She summoned her Wolf Blasters.

(Their eyes are different colored though

(Their eyes are different colored though. And for Cherry they are called Wolf Blasters! NOT GASTER BLASTERS! I just used this picture because this is exactly what they look like. I just can't really draw skeletons so I couldn't do my own art work for them. But yeah, NOT GASTER BLASTERS. She isn't related in any way to Gaster or the skele-bros so DON'T THINK THEY ARE RELATED! Blaze is the one on the left, Flower is the one on the right.)

She looked at her animals with a smile. Papyrus looked stunned. They were both huge! They were eight feet tall! The first one bent down and Cherry pet her.

"Hi girls. Good to see you again Flower and Blaze." She said. You cold tell the difference between the two by their eyes. Flower's eyes were pink and Blaze's were gold.

"WOWIE!" Papyrus exclaimed.

"Papyrus do have anything that belongs to Sans with you?" She asked. He took out a pink slipper. Must have more than one pair. Cherry thought. She took it and her pets sniffed it. Their eyes flamed up as they started tracking his scent. "Pap, follow Blaze. I'll go with Flower. Blaze you are under his command now. She will follow your orders Papyrus." Cherry said. He nodded.

"LET'S GO BLAZE!" He shouted and they were off. Cherry went with Flower in the other direction. It was time to end this.

Sans' POV

Sans went to check on her. She was still in bed, but sans noticed that she was awake. He walked in and she didn't snap at him so that was good.

"heya kid." He said. She didn't reply. He frowned. Sans stood there uncomfortably. "you...feeling ok kiddo?" Nothing. Sans grew worried. He walked over. "kid?" She still didn't look at him.

"Just go away Sans." She said. He flinched.

"kid...don't be like that." He said. She sat up.

"Why are you still trying so hard?" She growled. Sans grabbed her hand.

"because there's more to you than this cruel act you put up! i can SEE it!" He said.

"Then you're imagining things!" She snapped.

"why do you think you have to be this way?" He asked, now clearly upset. She froze.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand. Just leave." She said. Sans frowned. Had he pushed too hard? Sans guessed she wanted to be alone. He sighed and let go off her hand. Sans started to walk out. He glanced back at her one last time and left.

Sans didn't know what to do. She let him in sometimes, but other times she locked him out. Her emotions switched between rage and depression. Sans sighed. He felt helpless. Just once, he wanted to do something right. Sans felt a new feeling inside himself. He wasn't going to give up. Not this time. Giving up, was no longer an option.

Sans left. He knew where to go. Sans teleported himself Underground. He was in a cave with one single echo flower. He had a plan. Sans leaned down and said something to it. He hoped it would work. Tomorrow, he'd get his answers.
