Intimidating

First encounter

I woke up sweating and cold, I moved on my new bed kicking the sheets off my shaking body and went to close my window. I laid back in bed thinking about this dream that has been reoccurring for a few years now. When the dream begins a pair of  blue eyes stare at me, no not just staring. They pierce through mine as if they can see my frightened soul and only silence fills the pitch black surrounding I find myself in. All I see are those eyes and my heart pounds in my chest. It's been frightening me, yet as of recent there's slight comfort at the same time. Maybe I'm getting used to it. Confusing.
"Why" I groaned to myself trying to get comfortable again on my bed.
My childhood friends Ella, Rose, Jack and I all decided to move to New York together considering we all got accepted into the same college. Here we all were, on our own in the big world. Rose, Jack and I are 18 Ella she's 19, our house was bigger than I expected. It seemed smaller in the pictures and we all pitched in to buy it.  We just settled in about a week ago, I had gotten the master bedroom because I had more things.
Tomorrow is our first day of college and I'm already losing sleep. Great...

"WAKE UP LACE BRA!" Ella shouted banging on my door, I groaned getting up going into the bathroom brushing my teeth and doing my morning shower and routine, I curled my long brown locks and did light makeup. Next the outfit, I slipped into a light pink blouse and black jeans and some flats.
I exited my room going downstairs smiling slightly to myself as my tired roommates stood around the counter yawning, Jack moved slowly handing me a cup of coffee "thank you" I greeted finally "you look nice Lace up" Ella said "thanks love" I chuckled  finishing my coffee "you guys ready!?" Rose yelped excitedly causing a gasp to escape my lips as she suddenly seemed wide awake  "yea let's go!" Ella said "race ya to shotgun Shoe Lace!" Jack smirked towards me then him and I sprinted off to the car he beat me unfortunately and I sat in the back with Ella looking at the surroundings while we were on our way to campus.  We passed a deep forest area that was lit nicely by the sun peeking through the branches, it looked so interesting I nudged Ella and pointed "look how beautiful" I said softly "oh yes Lacey, perfect beautiful woods to get mauled by a bear in" she snorted, rolling my eyes I released the sigh I was holding, I would want to adventure in there one day.
We made it to campus and as soon as we entered the large doors there was a banner that read 'Welcome Freshman' in giant gold lettering hung along the large entrance wall I thought it was cute, but also a little obnoxious feeling like it was high school all over again. "Adult high school, yay" I scoffed "you'll enjoy it!" Some nerd behind me shouted "Ben!" He stuck out his hand, he was slightly taller than me with brown curly hair and lilac framed glasses "Lacey" I said shaking his slightly sweaty hand fighting against the frown that wanted to form on my face "so what class is first?" His brown eyes widened as he asked excitedly pointing to the schedule I clutched in my hand "uh.." I grumbled looking over the paper "ah physical anthropology" I stated "we have the same course, come I'll walk you" he stated, I looked around and my friends had disbanded without me noticing sighing slightly I followed Ben to the classroom. "Watch out there are some weirdos in this class" he said "oh, I'm not worried" I giggled how much weirder could it get? After finally choosing a seat I felt a weird sensation wash over me, a feeling I couldn't describe that almost started in my feet spreading upward reaching my eyes, the hairs stood on the back of my neck and I felt as if someone was watching me I turned my head slightly trying not to be too obvious and I froze, paralyzed. All I could do was stare, I was in a trance. A very gorgeous pair of blue eyes connected with mine. After staring for far too long I began to blush snapping out of my hypnotized state. My whole body was on fire, wow those eyes how intimidating...
I squirmed in my seat throughout the whole lecture and I could feel the woman's eyes still piercing holes into the back of my head. I started to sweat a bit, I was terrified. Those eyes, the same pair from my dream what could this mean? "dismissed" I sprinted out of the classroom and stood in the hallway waiting to calm down. I was in such a daze I didn't see the person standing in front of me "Lacey, are you alright?" Ellas voice rang through my head snapping me out of my thoughts "what are you doing here?" I asked furrowing my brows "I said I'd meet you after our first class remember?" I nodded "what happened? You look like you've seen a ghost" She wore a worried expression "Nothing! It's nothing, I just don't feel so well" I turned my head looking over Ella's shoulder and saw those eyes once again. She was staring at me as she continued to walk down the hallway, I slowly observed the owner of the eyes. She was breath taking "is that what your problem is?" Ella scoffed at me "what?" I asked not looking at her still following the woman with my eyes "that woman!" She shouted "lower your voice!" I scolded her flailing my arms slightly in her direction and started walking to my next class "Lacey! Lace bra!" She shouted after me "I'll talk to you later!" I said now running to my next class. What is happening?
At the end of the day I had gotten Ben to take me home I didn't want to be interrogated in the car full of my best friends.
I ran into the house and got in the shower immediately I needed to calm down, I was freaking out. I knew I was gay, but no girl has ever gotten me like this. There's an aura that is so mysterious, intense, sexy, and most definitely powerful surrounding her. I don't even know who the hell she is.
Unfortunately this wouldn't count as my first encounter with those eyes.
I fear those eyes.
