Rehan

~Accalia~
It's been about a week with Rehan, he's a quiet little boy. Lacey adores him, being honest I never imagined having a family. Since Lacey and I are both females.
I quite like it, Lacey constantly telling me to get things for the boy, teaching me to change diapers, and when he goes to sleep I get some action.
In a way he's brought us closer, If that's even possible.
I'm sitting in my office staring at the wall getting lost in thought all this bullshit is tiring I'm bored. Tired of worrying about enemies, expanding our territory, switching patrols, choosing hunters, training newly shifted. The list goes on.
Lacey cracked the door and peaked her head in her brown curls covering her face "hey baby" she said shyly and fully walked in closing the door and locking it behind her "hello beautiful" I respond as she comes and sits in front of me on the desk, she's wearing grey sweat pants and a crop top that shows her breast a little too much. "Need my help with anything?" She questioned and looked at the letters next to her "no, but that you" I sigh "you look tense" she said lowly and moved to straddle my lap in this small office chair "I'm just a bit mentally exhausted" I give a small smile "well take a break from all this, let's get your mind off it" she whispered and moved her face to my neck "how so?" I breathe out, she's too tempting "I miss the town, let's go to that diner on Main Street. They had the best omelets" she jumped up and smiled at me "not what I had in mind, but I am hungry" I smirk and she giggles "I'll go get my keys and check on Rehan" she smiled and gave a quick peck to my lips "okay babe" I smile softly, she got off my lap and walked quickly out the office I got up and stretched hearing a few cracks that's new maybe I'm getting old I laugh lowly to myself and exit the office.
"Okay let's go" Lacey trots out of the elevator jingling the keys in her hand she changed into jeans and put on a leather jacket "how's my little man?" I ask and take her hand "still sleeping, but Ella is watching him" she smiles, she glows like she carried him in her own womb "wow letting someone else watch over him, that's new" I gasp "we won't be gone long, and Ella convinced me" she giggled and leaned her head on my shoulder. We reached the car she opened my door for me then she childishly skipped to the drivers side "you're too cute" I say as she starts the engine "not too bad yourself Ms. Loehert" she smiled at me quickly then turned up the radio.

~Lacey~
We arrived at the diner and got seated, the smells were so more intense now I haven't been here since before I shifted. The smell of the food, sweaty people, and the strong scent of coffee a lot to take in but I didn't mind. I looked at my love in front of me, she was reading the menu with her left brow slightly raised "you're staring" she states glancing at me quickly and I shrugged "it's rude to stare" she put the menu down and looked into my eyes smirking "I can't help it you're gorgeous" I saw her blush and she looked away observing the people seated near us. I think I love her more everyday if that's possible, it seems so unreal everything we've been through. It hasn't been that long, but I'm so ready for our future I believe it will be amazing. Accalia, Rehan and I. I can't help but smile, when all this stress of enemies is over it will be fantastic. 
We ordered our food and just as I was thinking the day was just going to be better, that smell.
That smell hit me hard, the image of her dead body flashed into my mind. My heart rammed against my ribs, my head spinning "Lacey?" Accalia looked worried and reached her hand across the table to touch my arm "rogues frequent diners?" I ask looking around frantically, where's that scent coming from "maybe, they are allowed to just like us" she stated "this is not our territory, we can't pick fights here. Not in front of humans" she said quietly. "What's wrong? Just a rogue" she said "I want to go home, I need to see Rehan" I said quickly getting up from my seat, I need to see my baby. That smell made me fearful, her dead glossy eyes staring at me and hearing his cries. The smell just brought back the memory of fearing he was hurt.
Accalia drove home and I explained my actions, she understood somewhat and reassured he was safe in the pack house I nodded but I needed to see him.
We entered the house and Ella was on the couch bouncing the baby in her arms talking to him "look your mommies are hooome" she said excitedly "how is my baby" I say smiling and reaching for him, she handed him to me I immediately felt better "he's been good just woke up" Ella said to me I held him close and kissed his head his eyes opened wide staring into mine "my unique boy" I coo "How was the date?" Ella asked "good" Accalia and I said in unison "hi little man" Accalia also gave a kiss to his head then kissed my lips "I'm going to get back to that paper work" she said smiling to me "okay baby, Ella come. I'm going to my room" I say walking to the elevator.
Rehan made some noises and kicked his legs "what happened, don't want mommy to hold you anymore?" I giggle to him and place him on my bed between the pillows "you'd think you gave birth to him" Ella scoffed "I wish I did, but I'll love him as if I did" I smiled "I know you always say it" she smirked to me and sat on the bed "is that a bad thing?" I ask raising my brows "no, not at all! It suits you. Being a mom. You're so, glowing" she speaks with her hands "thank you" I say laying on the bed next to my boy smoothing his hair on his head "you and mama make me complete" I whisper to him "my sweet Rehan" I smile to him as he makes a little whimper "don't make me cry" Ella chuckled watching us "he's a gift, not under the best circumstance. A gift" she stated "yes, thank goddess"
