New comers

I could feel Lacey's anxiety getting stronger. The sound of her rapid heartbeat was making me cringe, I wish she had never seen that dead body. Lacey was so frightened it pained me to see it. I won't let anything happen to her, I will keep her safe. She was trembling as I pulled her into me feeling her calm somewhat as the tingles flowed through us, something I'm not yet used to but didn't mind.

"Am I going to get killed?" She whimpered and I held her tighter "never" I whispered as I took her hand leading her back to the house I brought her to my room and told her to stay in there and wait for me to come back. Rushing back to the main floor "COLBY" I shouted throughout the downstairs I soon heard bare feet rushing towards me "yes alpha" he states giving me his full attention "send out a hunting party, make sure this whole territory is being patrolled for 24 hours. No breaks,
I must arrange a bloody meeting with these bloodsuckers and make sure none of those cold sons of bitches get on to this land. Your Luna's life depends on it." I say sternly "yes alpha" I nod to him returning back upstairs to my mate. "Lacey" I say as I enter the room where she is sitting on my bed not looking as shaken up as she did a few minutes ago. "Hi babe" she says softly "you're safe, everything will be okay. Trust me, as long as I'm alive nothing will ever harm you" I spoke softly as I went to sit beside her on the bed placing a kiss on her forehead. "I trust you, but what about my friends will they be safe? Will the vampires try to kill them to get to me?" She asked with worry taking over her features. "I can send a few of my wolves to patrol around your house... but secretly" she looked at me wide eyed "you'd do that?" I nodded "yes love. I'll make sure they're safe too" she gave me a small smile and kissed me gently on the lips.

A few hours passed of us cuddling and watching television trying not to get overwhelmed by the vampire pest. "I'm hungry" Lacey states as she started to rise from our comfortable position on the bed I groan in response due of the loss of contact "do you have any cooked human food?" She giggled "no you have to eat raw venison" I say holding a straight face "ew!" She shrieked causing a laugh to erupt from me as I lead her to the elevator "I have human food don't worry" we get into the elevator heading to the kitchen.
"Chicken?" I ask "how will you cook it?" She asked "baked" I look back at her and see her nod as I look in the refrigerator for the package of chicken. I feel her eyes burning into my ass like what you see? I say through a mind link "ah! Get out of my head!" She giggles "get your eyes out of my ass" I say laughing and heading to season the chicken and placing it in the oven "wife material, nice ass and good cook" she said lowly as when I finished preparing the chicken "wife material, funny and likes food" I say kissing her flushed cheek.
I was taken from our sweet moment when I heard barking from outside. I turned my head quickly staring out the window seeing my pack members being attacked by three vampires. "Stay here" I commanded running out of the pack house a loud growl tore through me making my presence known to the enemy, feeling my bones quickly shift into my wolves larger body charging at the first vampire I see grabbing ahold of its head between my jaws and decapitating him. I roared triumphantly helping my pack members with the remaining two. Hunting party find this coven and bring me their leader I demanded loudly through our mind link. Soon after I saw a few of my wolves race into the forest to start their mission. This ends now I will not let this new threat harm my pack or my mate. Never.

~Lacey~
I watched the battle unfold from the kitchen window, terrified all I could do was watch. I watched as the wolves ripped the non humans to shreds. I recognized the big grey wolf of my lover, I cringed if a vampire got a hit in I didn't want her to get hurt. I didn't know what to do pacing the kitchen as the growls and snarls erupted from outside how do I help!? What do I do? At that moment tears started to fall down my cheeks, I was panicking. I ran to the bedroom rummaging through drawers and I found a gun with silver bullets next to it. I've never used a gun before, but Jack had one and I've watched him use it. I think I can handle this I sighed to myself picking up the weapon loading the weighted silver spears into the gun and turning the safety off. I ran downstairs once again heading outside holding the gun in front of me and aiming for a head of the vampire pulling the trigger, the body falling to the ground almost instantly it worked! I aimed for more heads shooting until the vampire attack was over with help of the pack members. Accalia shifted into her naked form somewhat glaring at me, she marched over quickly and into the house whilst grabbing my hand firmly in the process leading me upstairs and tossing me onto the bed as she angrily goes through her closet to put on something to wear although she did look hot all mad and naked. I enjoyed my view too much and I barely noticed when she was hovering over me staring  at me with cold blue eyes. Startled by her intense gaze I gasped slightly, why was she so mad? "Do you have any idea how dangerous that was!" I stared at her shocked
"You could've gotten killed Lacey!" She raised her voice at me again "I was trying to help!" I yelped back trying to sound a bit intimidating "don't ever do that again!" She scolded, I only stared at her feeling guilty and sad for something I thought was right "look Lacey. I can't lose you ever, if I do that will be the end of me." She whispered as her face only showed sadness I stood from my spot on the bed walking to her wrapping my arms around her waist burying my face in her neck "you won't lose me Accalia" I stated truthfully she held me tightly and sighed. "Don't do anything crazy like that again, got it?" She said kissing me on the forehead "yes, I won't do it again".
