"jiyoon, jooheon," i said. "i-i've found minhyuk's motive."

i was in jiyoon's room again, and minhyuk wasn't home.

"really? well, tell me already!" jooheon said.

"i—um..."

"goodbye, jooheon," jiyoon said into my earpiece and hung up.

"what's wrong, sweetie?" she put her hand on my shoulder.

"those bullies..." i clenched my fist.

"why are you getting so defensive? w-what happened? blair, what happened?"

"minhyuk is doing this because he was bullied," i said through gritted teeth.

"w-what?"

"he's lived his whole life, a falsely accused murder...of his family. he was under his bullies' control," i explained shortly.

"w-why are you so sensitive over it?"

"i don't know myself, jiyoon."

"do you think...you really have grown feelings towards him?" she asked softly.

i didn't answer, but instead said, "he's not a tyrant out to murder everyone. he's a sweet, nice, and caring guy."

"b-but he's trying to take over the world," jiyoon pointed out.

"i don't understand why he'd go that far, either," i sighed.

my earpiece began to buzz but i ignored it.

"jiyoon, i can't let minhyuk be assassinated..."

"eh?"

the buzzing stopped for a few seconds, but started again.

"he doesn't deserve it."

"blair, please, snap out of it," jiyoon began to tear up. "we're here to assassinate minhyuk for tyranny."

"but it's not tyranny!"

"then what is it, blair?! what is it...?"

"i-i don't know...," i bit my lip. "he just wants to prove his bullies wrong."

my earpiece wouldn't stop buzzing so i angrily answered it.

"what do you want jooheon?!" i nearly yelled.

"it's changkyun."

his voice was stern and serious, sending chills down my spine.

"w-what happened?"

"jooheon said he's on his way to get you."

"what..?" this was unbelievable.

"we've located you and jooheon's coming to get you."
