a/n: woot woot double update! btw this book is almost over :((

changkyun pulled off sneaking us into a motel. it was honestly horrible in there, but we couldn't risk being noticed.

the van was parked far in another parking lot.

"we're all sharing one room. it only has a small bed that can fit one person, so us boys will sleep on the floor," changkyun said. "we don't know how long we'll be on the run so we're going to need to save as much money as possible."

we all got ready for bed; setting up some blankets and pillows on the floor.

i slept on the bed and the boys all cramped together on the floor.

"a-are you sure you're okay with sleeping on the floor?" i asked.

"it's okay, good night."

i was the first to wake up.

i did my business and woke up the boys. they got ready as well.

"i'm gonna stop by a fast food place," changkyun said. "i'll be back."

"be careful!"

"what are we going to do now? i doubt boss is going to listen to us if we try to talk in our again," i said.

"we have to find solid proof that minhyuk isn't a total nut job," jooheon said.

minhyuk glared at jooheon.

it was silent until...

"i-i have something at home," minhyuk spoke.  "it's all the records of my past that prove i was bullied. it includes some cases where they had to determine if i was actually a murder or not, and it proves i'm not."

"great, how're we going to get there?" i sighed. "the agency is probably guarding the place."

"that's it!" jooheon said. "the agency! we can get wonho to help us."

"you think he will?"

"oh, he will. i'll ring him."

while jooheon was on the call with wonho, changkyun came back.

"here, something to eat," he set in down on the small circular table. "who's jooheon on the phone with?"

"minhyuk says he has some files at home that proves his backstory," i said. "jooheon is calling wonho to see if he'll bring them to us."

"yah, minhyuk!"

"what?"

"where are the files?" jooheon asked.

"they're in jenyer's room. there should be a secret compartment in the corner on her room on the floor. her room is downstairs, the last one at the hall."
