Carmen Shows Her True Self

•Carmen's POV•
We ended the tour at the park. We both sat down on the bench in front of the playground. Then I heard a voice that was to familiar.
"So, tell me about you." he asked.
"First of all, i dont know who you are."
"And I wasn't listening to Ray."
"You're right. But you were the one staring at me while Ray was talking not listening."
"And what were you doing?"
"I was listening at first. Then i just lost interest."
"Oh well that makes sense."
"So what's your name?"
"My name is Henry Hart. What about yours?"
"My name is Carmen Johnston."
"How are you Ray's niece?"
"My dad." That's when the painful memories started.
*Flashback*
I noticed a red stain on the side walk. I put my finger on it and smelled it, it was my dads blood. I followed the stains to the woods and then I followed the scent of my dads blood to him. My father was all beat up and bruised. Then I noticed a huge cut across his stomach that was deep enough to touch his stomach. "Dad! What happened?!" I screamed.
"Go.... to.... Swellview..... Find.... your.... Uncle.... Ray....." he said horsely.
"Dad what are you talking about?" The sky started to turn gray.
"Find.... him.... and.... he.... will........" He fell quiet and he turned pale.
"Dad! DAD WAKE UP!!!!" I screamed into his chest. It started to rain.
*End of Flashback*
I came out of my thoughts by Henry. He was lightly shaking me. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. I wiped my face and the sky was starting to turn gray.
"Are you okay?" asked Henry.
"Yeah, why would I not be?"
"Well, you're crying."
"I don't cry. Why do you care?!"
Henry didn't respond. Why does he care he doesn't even know me.
•Henry POV•
When I saw Carmen crying, it felt like my world was coming to end. Wait, do I like her? There's no way. I have Bianca, I love her, she's my girlfriend. I swear i hate feelings, they are so confusing. "You know, you don't have to put on this 'tough girl act' on me. I know that you are a really sweet girl."
"No i'm not." Thats when I noticed her orange streak of hair was changing to red. My mouth dropped open. "What why do you look so shocked?" she yelled.
"Y-your hair changed colors." I said in shock.
"Yeah, it does that."
"How?"
"My hair changes colors based on my mood." Her hair changed to blue.
"What does blue mean?"
"Each color means something different. Like for instance, in this case, blue means calm. Blue also means trust, smart, faith, natural, stable, and power. But mainly for me, blue means calm, trust, and smart."
"Thats so cool. We should head back to the Man Cave its getting dark."
"Yeah, lets go."
We got off of the park bench and started heading towards Junk'N'Stuff. I don't know how i feel towards Carmen, i dont know if i like her as a friend or way more than that but i'll eventually figure it out.
