Birthday Surprise

I woke up in Henry's bed. We must've did it again. I looked beside me but he was nowhere to be found. "Henry where are you?" i yelled but he didnt answer. I got up to look for some clothes to put on. I put on a pair of my underwear and his blue hoodie. I turned around and saw him standing in the dooorway smirking. "What are you doing Henry?"

"Good morning babe. And I an smiling at you like that because you look really good in my clothes." When he said that i blushed. "And i would officially like to wish you a happy 16th birthday." OMG i forgot it was my birthday. After all that happened, i didnt recall the time or months, hell even days.

"Thanks so much babe. Can I be honest with you right now?"

"Sure." he said as he walked towards me.

"I forgot today was my birthday." i said feeling embarrassed.

"It's ok. I understand. With all that stuff happening since you came here a almost a year ago, and i get it. I'm not judging you or getting onto you. I just don't blame you."

"Thanks babe, I love you."

"I love you too." he said as he cupped my face in his hand and kissed me. "I have three presents for you."

I felt myself grow excited. "What is it?"

"The first present is downstairs." he said tossing some shorts towards me. I put them on and he took my hand.

We got down stairs and i saw a breakfast set up. I gasped and i covered my mouth. "Henry!!" I felt his strong arms wrap around me and he kissed me neck, right on my sweet spot. As he kissed and licked my neck, I tilted my head back and let out a quiet moan. He smiled into my neck and released.

"Go and eat." he replied. I left his warm embrace and started eating.

5 minutes later

I finished my food and i noticed there were suitcases by the door. "Henry."

"Yes."

"What are those suitcases for?" i asked. He looked at me and smiled.

"Thats your second present." i looked at him confused as he grabbed my hand and lead me over to the suitcases.

"Are those our suitcases?" i asked still confused.

"Yeah they are. Along with mine and mom's." I looked at him with fear.

"Calm down." he said calmly.

"Why are you telling me to calm down?"

"Because your eyes are pitch black. And i know that means fear."

"Okay."

"Thats my girl." he must've said that because my eyes are a different color. "Anyway guess where are we going." he said with a little excitement in his voice.

"Where are we going?" i asked.

"We are going to..........." he said as he reached over into his suitcase. He pulled out a airplane ticket. I read the ticket and i looked at henry who was smirking. I smiled from ear to ear.

"We are going to New York!!!!" i yelled.

"Yeah we are!!"

"Henry, I've always wanted to go to New York."

"Well let's go kids, before we miss our flight." Henry's mom said while she was standing in the doorway. I quickly ran upstairs and changed into (media above).

We walked out the house, on our way to the airport.

30 Minutes Later

We were sitting on the plane getting ready to take off. "I am so excited for New York."

"Why are you so ready for New York?" Henry asked me.

"I don't know. But i've seen pictures of it. I think i'm excited for new york because i would like to see it in the nighttime. I think its beautiful in the nighttime. What about you?"

"I'm ready to see New York in the daytime. I think it's interesting in the daytime."

I nodded my head in approval and looked out the window.

If you really think about it.  Henry and I are two totally different people. But we get along just fine. I mean, he's my boyfriend. I guess the lesson my mom and dad taught me was true. Opposites do attract.

I looked out the airplane's window and I saw the endless patches of green and small splotches of the colors of the rainbow on the ground that we were miles above.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and i turned around to Henry with a blanket and a laptop with earbuds in his hands with a smirk on his face. "What." i replied with a smile.

"I brought Netflix. Wanna watch a movie with me. You can pick the movie."

"I'd love to. Ummmm........" i said stroking my chin "how about we watch Wonder Woman?"

Henry plugged in the earbuds and spread the blanket over us and he turned on the movie. I snuggled into his chest and watched the movie. "Smile." said Henry's mom holding a poloroid camera in her hands. We quickly smiled and she snapped the picture. The picture printed out the top of the camera and she shook it so the picture would show up. She handed us the picture. We looked at it with awe. We put the picture into my bag and went back to the movie. I looked up at Henry and he looked down at me. He smiled and i smiled back.

"I love you, Carmen." he replied.

"I love you too, Henry."

He leaned in and pecked my lips. I put my attention back on the screen and i felt myself going to sleep. i closed my eyes and started to dream about New York City.
