•Carmen's POV•
I finally arived at Junk'N'Stuff. I saw my old friend, Gooch, sitting behind the counter. " Hey Gooch!" I said.
"Hey Carmen! How you been?" asked Gooch.
"Ehhhh..."
"What happened?"
"I don't want to talk about it but where is Ray."
"He's down in the cave."
"Thanks!"
I headed to the back and took the elevator down. I haven't taken that elevator in a while. I was screaming all the way down. The elevator door opened and I walked out of the elevator and I saw a girl that was about my age sitting in front of the super computer looking at criminals. She turned around and screamed. I guess I scared her.
"Who are you?!?!?!?!" She yelled.
"My name is Carmen Johnston, I am Ray's niece. What's your name?"
"My name is Charlotte."
"That's a pretty name. Have you seen Ray?"
"Thanks and he back in his room. I'll call him here."
She reached under the table for a radio called Ray to the Man Cave. Twenty minutes later Ray came from his room and saw me. "Hey Carmen! What are you doing here? Did something happen? Where's my brother?"
"Ray!" I said annoyed "I'll tell you what happened."
*Ten Minutes Later*
Ray started to cry. "I can't believe that my only brother is dead." He sobbed.
"I know, I can't believe it either. I think he wanted you to help me learn how to control my powers."
"Wait..." interrupted Charlotte, "you have powers"
"Yeah I do."
Charlotte seemed impressed. Then Ray started to talk to me.
"Go and take a shower."
"Okay"
I walked to the back and took my shower and came back. Then when I came back there was a boy that was about my age. He was kinda cute but, I wasn't looking for a relationship right now after all that happened.
