So after all of you met, you all headed to where the Akatsuki were residing since it was getting late. This time Cloud and the others protested instead of the Akatsuki who were just surrounding you. Pain was staring straight ahead and would glance at you once in a while, while the others remained silent, except for Deidara, Tobi and Hidan who glared daggers at Zack and Axel when they tried to walked at both of your sides.
"So how have you guys been?" once you all reached the place. It looked like it used to be a store, it wasn't that big, it was modest. What it used to be full of groceries, not it was all destroyed, it was dull full of sand and it wall all empty,nothing left.
Kisame showed a toothed smile. " Well, but there was nothing much, if was a bitch having to look for food and water."
"I understand."With a sigh, you agreed. Cloud and a few others staid back to figure out where they would be hiding the vehicles for the night at least. Just some of them followed behind, with a frown on their faces unhappy to see the Akatsuki there.
"Hey, [Name]?" still walking asked Kisame curious. "How did you manage to survive?"
The others turned their heads towards you, interested in what you were going to answer. The more you walked, the more the state of the store got into a better condition, not so good but so so. There was a storage that used to hold goods and other rooms, the leader didn't stope walking and he headed to a room. You stopped and looked back, Kakashi stared at you and nodded even though you knew he didn't trust the Akatsuki at all.
The Akatsuki members went in and so did you. Once inside, the Leader took a seat in the only chair that was in the room. Others just leaned against the wall and others just stood, some just plopped on the grounds. You decided to lean against the wall, you were tired of sitting.
"So?" as Konan who you had never the chance of talking.
"Alright" you paused for a second. " I honestly don't really know what that man did to me, for all I know I could have died. I just appeared in a cell full of liquid, not really sure what that was."
Pain raised an eyebrow." What man are you talking about?"
"Well, it's Orochimaru. H-"
And Itachi interrupted. "Orochimaru?" he repeated him name with a hint of coldness.
You nodded and the other Akatsuki members just stared at Itachi. Itachi remained silent but his jaw was tense.
"Ok, continue, un." Deidara argued you to go on, he waited to hear your story anxious.
"Well, there's not much to say. I escaped but even though they let me go, they kept track of me. I traveled on my own for a long time." You laughed. "You know, I think it was luck, I just found the others and now we all meet again."
Pain remained silent and listened carefully. "And I am surprised that you all are still together." You admitted. Sasori stared at you with curiosity."Well, I think that was enough of me, I should get going it's getting dark."
They simply nodded, though there were a few who protested which were Hidan, Tobi, and Deidara. Before you exited Pain grabbed your arm. "I need to speak with you." So, instead of leaving, you had to stay behind and talk to the leader. The other members stared back at you and smiled on their way out.
Once the room was empty except for the two of you, Pain did not take a seat like you thought he would. "Tell me, why they they let you go?" he asked.
You sighed, so he didn't trust you?"Look I don't know, I fought but they just let me walk out."
He nodded. "Then why didn't you look for your friends?" he interrogated.
"Like I said, they kept track of my movements. I couldn't just lead them to my friends I would just put them in danger." You closed your eyes, " You know, at this exact moment they might come here and attack for all I know."He remained emotionless."Look, if you don't trust me, I'll leave if that's what you want."
Again you made your way to open the door and exit but a hand stopped the door. Turning around you were met with the face of the leader, he was really close. His hand was just a little higher than your head and placed the other beside your head,he looked deep into your eyes. Even though he face was emotionless, there was a glint in his eyes that you could not guess what he was feeling at the moment.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "Pain..what are y-" but he swallowed your worlds. His lips were on top of yours, you were surprised at how soft they were. He kissed you softly and removed his hands from the door and placed them on either side of your head. You on the other hand were shocked to say the list, for a moment you thought that were about to engage in a fight.
His lips stopped and moved back a little and he probably realized what he had done and he walked away and exited not bothering to say anything at you at all.
