She found a parking spot near the back of the restaurant and parked, shutting the engine off and grabbing her lanyard with her wallet attached. She took out the number from her soccer bag and put it into her contacts, sighing once she hit save.

Georgia entered the restaurant and found the majority of the team in the back, where tables were pushed together and the large group out of the way of other customers. She took a seat at the end of the table where a seat was saved for her, the waitress taking her order quickly so she got her dinner along with everyone else.

"About time you showed up! Did you get held up by someone?" Allison asked as she took her seat, drinking some of the water that was placed in front of her.

"Actually, I did." She responded with a sigh, a ghost of a smile appearing on her lips as she slowly got their attention.

"Another college recruiter?" Coach Carter asked, curiosity playing her her eyes.

"Not exactly, but a recruiter yes." Georgia responded, and beckoning eyes begged for her to continue. "You all know I am deciding between UNC and Stanford, but now there is a new offer on the table." She started, taking another sip of water before continuing. "I got offered a spot on Manchester City by Nick Cushing himself. He was scouting the game." Georgia finished, looking to the gaped jaws of her teammates.

"What does that mean, GJ?" Madison asked.

"It means, that if I go play with City, I'm not playing college ball." She huffed.

"It's the pro league, you can't pass this up." Allison said excitedly as food was placed on the table. "This is your dream, GJ."

"I know, and I want to go play for City, but what if it doesn't work out?" She asked worriedly.

"Georgia Rose Jacobson, you are the best damn goalkeeper in this state. You're a three time state champion, have the state record of shutouts that is still growing and becoming a national record, and you're a captain of the team. It is going to work out for you no matter where you go, GJ." Coach Carter explained, ending the conversation about her worry. She had already thought about it on the ride over, and her only worry now was what to tell her parents.

"I guess I'm going to play at Manchester City!" She announced, her mind already made up before she had sat down and told her team. They all celebrated, and she warned to not say anything until she signed with them. She told them what she knew so far, which was that she could be with them through states, but after that she was not sure as to how long she had after. Georgia found herself excusing herself from dinner after she finished and paid her bill, needing to get home to discuss things with her parents. She had no clue where to start, but it was not like they cared anyhow. They barely supported her soccer career, for they could make the majority of her games if they actually tried. Allison's parents were her adoptive parents, for they were the parents she never had.

She pulled into the driveway a little after nine in the evening, and for once she found her parents cars in the driveway before her. She parked her car and shut off the engine, grabbing her bag out of the backseat and getting out, locking the doors before heading inside. She put her bag at the stairs so she would grab it before she went downstairs. Georgia put her keys on the hook and sighed, hearing the television set on in the living room.

"Eu estou em casa!" She called into the house, for her parents would rather speak in the language they had been born with in their own home. (I am home!)

"Estamos na sala de estar!" Her father Miguel responded, and she took that as an invitation to join them. (We're in the living room!)

"Como foi o trabalho." She asked as she sat down on the chair, looking to the show they were watching. It was a rerun of something, but she did not even try to guess as to what it was. (How was work?)
