*Connor's P.O.V*

Larissa came in really shook up. Her face was tear-stained and her beautiful hazel eyes were slightly bloodshot, I'd never really seen her like this before.

I had no idea of what to say so I just pulled her into a hug to comfort her, and not pester her by asking annoying questions that would just frustrate her.

*Larissa's P.O.V*

I smiled into the hug as me and Connor stood silent. I respected him for not asking me questions, I could tell he didn't want to agitate me. I followed him upstairs and placed my bags by my new bed for a few days. I'm still shocked that Connor would do such a lovely thing for me - he didn't have to, but the main thing is.. he did. I couldn't thank him enough for that.

We got changed into our nightwear and went downstairs to get some food and watch some television. I poured us both some coke and Connor got some dishes full of sweets & crisps.

"So then" Connor said, his mouth full of Haribos. "What's happened between you and Brad"

The dreaded question I just knew was going to come up sooner or later.

"Long story short, we shared a drunken kiss that we shouldn't have and by my mum was informed about it my fake friend, my mum freaked out then kicked me out and now I'm here" I breathed, catching my breath.

"You say it was 'just a drunken kiss' but I think you and I both know it meant more than that to Brad and I think it meant something to you too" Connor replied looking at me with his sensible head screwed on firmly.

"We're best friends of course it meant something - it meant that it should never happen again" I almost told myself aloud.

"If it didn't mean anything, then why aren't you carrying on like normal?" Connor questioned raising his eyebrow.

To be perfectly honest, he had a point. I shouldn't be ignoring Bradley, but I'm still coming to terms with the whole situation.

"Look you should ring him up now and just talk to him, I'm sure you'll brighten up his day if you just talk to him and let him know you haven't let it effect you deeply" Connor suddenly spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I think you're right Connor, you don't mind if I take it outside?"

"Go ahead, whatever you think is best" he replied shooing me out the door.

*

My call went straight to the answer phone and so I left a message.

"Brad I don't know where to start. I know it was only a kiss and I don't know why I'm letting it affect me so much.... look when you've got this please ring me back so we can meet up, I'd like to see you in person"

My began to beat much faster at the thought of telling him how I really felt. I knew that it was more than just a kiss. I wouldn't have kissed him without meaning. I had to tell him my true feelings.
