Thank you @mariwael12345 and @skyedoesfanfics for telling me how to spell Kwami. If you two disn't talk about it, i would've wrote the whole book spelling quami, and it would've been embarrassing.

The next morning, Marinette woke up to the smell of the bakery downstairs. When she looked at the clock, it said 12:14.

"12:14?! I slept in!"

Marinette quickly got dressed then fell down the stairs, ending with a bang.

"MARINETTE! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Sabine, her mom screamed.

"J-just fiiiiiiiiiine." Marinette said kinda woozy

"Good thing Ayla's here with your homework, so you can relax with her and get your studying done while me and your father can work in the bakery."

"Waiiiiiit..... AYLA CAN STAY OVER?!"
Marinette just noticing what her mother said.

"Yes. Now go upstairs and relax with Ayla."

Marinette and Ayla ran up the stairs, barley containing their excitement.

Once they got to her room, Ayla slammed the door.

"H-how did-"

"I told you I have my ways Marinette." Ayla interrupted.

"Yeah. I guess you did. Now, can we just talk and not do homework???"

"Nope. Your too far behind. I don't want to go into next year with a best friend redoing a year."

"I guess not-"

"So let's get started girl!"

Time skip

Marinette and Ayla have been working all day. When they looked out the window again, they could see the lights of Paris sparkling.

"CRAP MY PARENTS WILL BE WORRIED! GOTTA GO!"

And with that Ayla slammed the door.

" hey purrrrrrrrrrrincess."

Adrien/Chat's POV

I was waiting for Lastbug on patrol, when I remembered she wouldn't show.

"Ugh. Now what am I gonna do?"

Then I remembered Marinette and how she wasn't at school for the past few days.

"I should totally go see her and see if she's alright... and now I'm talking to myself. Just great Adrien. Just great."

So jumping on roofs, I went over to Marinette's place where I saw Ayla just leaving.

"Hey purrrrrrrrrrrincess."
