"I told you Ayla, it's boring not able to do anything all day!" Marinette said to her phone.
It has been 3 days since Marinette went home, and so far, there hasn't been an Akuma attack.
"Don't worry girl! I'm sure time will go faster if I'm there."
"Yeah, but how? My parents won't let me do anything! I was just really sleep deprived! That's why I collapsed! I'm fine now!"
"Watch me work my magic Mari. Just watch me." Ayla hung up.
Marinette flopped on her bed groaning. Her mother walked in with a plate of chocolate chip cookies.
"Thanks mom."
"Your welcome dear. Do you want milk with that?"
"Yes please"
Once her mom left Tikki, her quami, showed herself.
"Don't feet Marinette. You'll get better eventually."
"Yes, but I want to be better now! Not eventually! What if an akuma attack happens?! Chat can't deactivate the akuma by himself!"
"Calm down Marinette. I know you'll think of something your really smart!"
"Ha! Thanks Tikki."
"Marinette? Is there another person up there?"
"My mothers back! Quick Tikki! Hide!"
Tikki hid underneath Marinette's pillow when her mother came walking in.
"Oh! There's no one here. I thought I heard someone."
"Must have been your imagination mother. Now I'm tired, may I go to sleep?"
"Of course Marinette."
Wth that Marinette's mother went downstairs.
"Tikki spots on!"
Timeskip
Ladybug was flying through Paris, rooftop to rooftop, looking for anything suspicious.
Once she was done she landed in the Eiffel Tower, looking at the beautiful city's lights.
"Hello m'lady."
"Hello Chat."
"Lovely night huh?"
"Yeah. I wish it could last forever."
"Why m'lady?"
"It's just I can't be left alone during the day, and at night I'm supposed to be asleep. How am I supposed to be Ladybug if someone is with me at all times?!"
Chat felt bad for Ladybug. He's never seen her this distressed before.
"Hey the time will pass, and if an akuma attack happens, you'll be able to handle it. I believe in you."
"That's what Tikki said!"
"Who's Tikki?"
"My quami."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
Then they both went into comfortable silence for 10 minutes.
"Well I better go. Thanks Chat."
"Anytime m'lady."
With that Ladybug went home, detransformed and fell asleep, feeling a little better.
