The truth could break glass

Chapter 5

  A lot of times we do things that we are not proud of. I cant be proud of what i had just done. I couldn't handle the situation and I lost control. That's not how it should've happened.

      When I got home I started cleaning up. There was a lot of Jacksons' stuff on the floor so I just through them in a bag and kept cleaning. I started doing dishes and remembered that I wanted to go to Patrick's party this weekend.

       I could take Christina. I know she doesn't like the type of parties he throws. But she would also be unhappy if I went without her. She would probably think that I was going to lock myself inside a room and grind on some trashy girl. No matter how many times I tell her there would be no point to do that when I could just grind on her if I needed to. She giggles and tells me that I'm gross. I simply shrugged and said I know but its true. Out of nowhere I hear my mom scream loudly.

        "SETH!!!!!!!"

   I ran to the kitchen and when I walk in of course what I see a bug on the floor and she's sitting on the counter. I roll my eyes and grab a napkin and walk outside with the bug in the napkin.

      Ever since my aunt told me that for every bug you kill you lose a day of your life I try my hardest not to kill any. It might seem silly or really stupid but its not. I want to live a long life and I don't want something as small as a bug ruin that.

     As I help my mom down from the counter, the house phone rings. I walk over to it and answer it.

          "Hello?" I say into the receiver.

          "Seth Green?"

          "Depends on who's asking."

          "Its Maddie. Your fathers fiance. I need to tell you something."

          "Yea I know your pregnant. Congratulations. But I want nothing to do with the baby or that asshole."

          "That's not what I needed to tell you. And the baby isn't his. I just met him a few months ago."

          "Does it involve him at all?"

          "Yes. He saw you today and something in him snapped it was like he realized that he did something wrong for once. You need to come and hear him out. What he might say could shock you."

            "No thank you. I would appreciate it if you left right now."

      With that she looked at me for a second longer than necessary, gave me a hug and waled out of the house. She had said to go to my father and hear him out. I have no intentions of doing that.

         Ten minutes after Maddie led there was a knock at the door. I looked at the time and saw it was 5:32. It must be Matt. I walked to the door and let him in.

                 "what's up loner?" he asked.

                 "nothing come on upstairs. I have movies we can watch."

       He nodded his head. He didn't have to ask if there was popcorn. Because he already knew there wasn't any. We watched a movie until Jake showed up at exactly 6. Matt looked at me confused because he didn't remember me telling him that Jake was coming. I gave him a look that said don't start, and he didn't do anything stupid.

        We ate pizza, and continued to watch movies until we all passed out at midnight. I woke up a little bit later hearing strange noises. The noise was just my phone vibrating. I looked at the caller Id then stepped out of the room down to the kitchen and picked up the phone.

                "hello" I said.

                "you weren't at school today."

                "well hi to you to Christie."

                "hey. Are you okay?"

                " yea. I just had a lot of things to do today and I just didn't want to go."

                " wanna sneak out and meet at the tree?"

               "yea. Sure, meet you in five?"

                "last one there loses."

      She hung up. She wasn't your typical I love you before I hang up girl. She only ever said it in person or if we were just fighting. She wanted to meet at our tree in the park woods. Its buried deep in the forest. so far that in order to see us you had to under it's leaves with us. I ran upstairs grabbed my sneakers, a shirt, and ran out of the house to my truck.

      As I started jogging towards the tree I saw her. She ever tried to wear stilettos to the tree once. And she ended up walking barefoot to it. I silently ran over to her. and while she was typing something on her phone I grabbed her waist and kissed her throat. I felt her tense up. So I did something that she knew only I would know to do. I wrapped my hand over her mouth lifted her off the ground and carried her the rest of the way to the tree. She still didn't know I was me but she would soon enough.

          I used my hand to brush away the leaves and push under to the soft grass hidden under. I laid her down and laid down on top of her. I pressed my body to hers letting my lips find their way to hers. She reached up and grabbed two handfuls of my hair to press my lips closer.

           And that's how we first made love, under a full moon, on a soft patch of grass. I honestly thought nothing would be able to ruin the moment. But I remembered that I had to get back before the guys woke up. I looked up at Christina who was lying on my chest and whispered the news to her. She nodded her head and rose up to get dressed and leave. Once were both ready to leave she turned around whispered I love you and kissed me long and soft.

         On the walk back to the cars we held hands. We giggled about random things and talked about everything. But way too soon we were sanding by her car. She turned towards me gave me a kiss goodbye and got in the car. She drove off with a wave. By the time she left the break of dawn started to show. And I jogged to my truck.

        Once I go home I started cooking. I made toast, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. I also made orange juice. By the time everything was finally done cooking it was 8 in the morning. I had the house spotless, and food already prepared. I walked up to my mothers room first knowing she would want to pee before anyone else.

        I tugged slightly on her ponytail and whispered good morning. She mumbled something about being a pain in the butt. I told her I made breakfast and she rolled over and sniffed me. She got up and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth and pee.

       I walked into my room picked up a pillow and smacked both guys in the head.

               "HEY"

               "WATCH IT!"

               "stop yelling and get up. I made food for you two idiots."

       Matt jumped up but Jake rolled over and seemed not to believe me. So I said; "Matt whatever this bum was supposed to eat you can have since he wont get up." He got up fast and ran down to the kitchen. I wasn't hungry I ate while I cooked. So I went outside. And just as I opened the door the man my fist hit yesterday was standing there just about to knock.
