Everything was blurry.
Jacee felt like the world was ending.
"Where- where am I?" murmured Jacee.
"Your at the hospital honey." said a nice, calming voice.
"Huh? What do you mean? I-I was just at prom! Where's Devin? What happened?" Jacee exclaimed, panicking.
"Calm down, calm down." said the voice.
"Please, just tell me what happened!" Jacee shouted.
"You were at prom when you got pushed over. You tripped and fell, breaking your foot. Devin called the ambulance and now your here." said the soft, smooth voice.
"Oh. So that explains the sharp pain running down my foot." said Jacee.
"Wait, so where's my mom and Devin?" she asked.
"Your mom is in the waiting room and Devin's back at his house. He's been calling us every hour to make sure your ok.
"Awww that's nice of him!" said Jacee, blushing a bit.
She reached for her phone by her hospital bed.
She went to the Messages app and clicked "Devin ❤️"
Jacee: Hey
Devin: OMG YOUR OK THANK THE LORD HALLELUJAH!!!
Jacee: Devin, Devin! Calm down. I'm fine. My foot hurts a lot tho.
Devin: I'm sorry I can't come and see you at the hospital!
Jacee: Why can't you?
Devin: Umm... Oh I have to go srry! 😅
Jacee: Ummm, ok?
Jacee then clicked on "Ariel".
Jacee: Hey Ariel, how was prom with Garret?
Ariel: What happened to you? There was a ambulance, a crying Devin, a whole crowd gathered around y'all, I mean WHAT?!
Jacee: Oh yeah I broke my foot. Jenna pushed be over and I tripped. Clumsy me!
Ariel: Not clumsy you, stupid Jenna!!!
Jacee: I just want to say, thanks for being a good friend!
Ariel: Anytime! I gtg soo bye!
Jacee: Bye!
Then Jacee had to update Garret. She clicked "Garret"
Jacee: Hey, about last night... I kinda broke my foot....
*15 mins later*
"Guess he hasn't seen it!" said Jacee.
