Jacee was sitting at her and Ariel's (her bff) table, all alone, waiting for Ariel to show up. Then all of a sudden, a "Boo!" comes from behind her back. She looks over her shoulder to see Ariel, standing there, grinning. "Ha ha! Gotcha!" Ariel exclaimed.
"Oh hey! Jacee said back. "You actually scared me, for once! Heh!"
"Hey!" Ariel exclaimed. You look like you have something on your mind. What is it?
"Oh... nothing."
"Oh come on. I know it's not "nothing"! Ariel said playfully.
"Ok... Fine! I'll tell you. But you have to promise you won't tell anyone! Especially Jenna! Ok?"
"Ok! It's a deal!"
Jacee looked around to make sure nobody was around before saying "Devin asked me to go to prom."
"Really?!" Ariel exclaimed questionably.
"Yes, really." said Jacee.
"That's great! I didn't think you could pull it off! Ha! I just wish Ryan would take a interest in me..."
"Oh I'm sorry Ariel..."
