Apologies

Grasping her hand quite tightly, Kakashi gazed into the village with a slight annoyed look. Tiriny up ahead making him a little uneasy,
"Wolfie?" Kakashi glanced at her with wide eyes making her smile "relax, it'll be alright, you should know that"
"It's not that.. I'm not nervous saku" Sakura then smiled softly at him. Squeezing his hand she leant closer, head on his shoulder
"Kakashi... I know it's hard, trust me, I know the pain your going through. You can always wait outside the village it your not ready" she whispered to him, as he stood in the gates of the village. Why did he feel so.. Scared to go back? After all that he went gruel ugh just to get Sakura, to get over that fear of being able to kill his kids in one movement, why now did he feel so.. Frightened to go back home?
"S-Sakura-San?!" The guard Kotetsu shouted loudly, alarmed to see the pinkette safely back home after being late from a mission, looking back Sakura smiled as she set the twins on tiriny's back and smiled
"Tiriny" she stated me looking down at the lioness. "Keep them safe for us, Kakashi needs time" tiriny look over to Kakashi with a slight worried look as shuri stood beside her
"Is uncle Kashi still getting over.. Aunt Sakura?" Shuri asked. Sakura smiled and knelt down Infront of shuri
"Shuri, your uncle may not look like it, but he's really struggling with your father's death. I know it's hard for you too.. But.." Shuri frowned
"Don't worry aunt Sakura, I'll help tiriny-San" Sakura smiled at the girl and brought her close
"Thank you Shuri. protect those two will all your strength okay? This village still isn't safe for those two to be alone" Shuri nodded and saluted Sakura with a sad smile. Sakura knew the girl was trying to stay positive, tiriny then nodded
"Let him know he can take all the time he needs" with that, tiriny left, Shuri belong side her. Sakura then stood up feeling the chakra coil making her look back at him, he was staring into the village. Shaking slightly. Sighing Sakura walked up to him
"Hey, take all the time you need Wolfie" Kakashi looked at her with a slight smile.
"Yeah.. I can try.." He whispered. "Where'd the others go saku?"
"Tiriny and Shuri went to take them home, to shuri's place, where they'll be safe. Tiriny is with them so there's no need to worry" Kakashi nodded and sighed,
"Come on" he suddenly stated, grabbing a hold of her hand and pulling her into the village making Sakura smile.
"Wolfie, don't force yourself " looking back at her he smirked
"The wolf can handle almost anything" giggling at his remark she let him pull her into the village fully with a slight smile on his face, though the looks he got form the guards was something out of the ordinary. He got.. Relieved looks, making his skin crawl. Yanking her closer to him he forced himself to keep moving, keeping away from people who walked past,
"Thank goodness!" Someone shouted making Kakashi flinch, it was sakura's mother.
"Mom!" Sakura exclaimed hugging her mother tightly making Kakashi sigh.
"Oh sweetie when we heard that you had been taken when on your mission we were so worried!" Mebuki shouted loudly. Hugging her daughter tightly until looking to Kakashi.
"Is that..?" Kakashi froze the moment a smile came to mebuki's face.
Sakura looked confused as well. It was then when mebuki pounced onto Kakashi and hugged him tightly making him freeze, staring wide eyed down at the woman he thought despised him his ear folded down as he stared at the woman, "thank you so much for bringing my daughter home safely! Thank you so much!" She exclaimed, smiling a teary eyed smile up at Kakashi who stared at her. Not knowing what to say.
"........y..your welcome...?" He whispered. Sakura sighed,
"Mom..?" She asked, mebuki smiled softly at her daughter
"Im sorry.. So sorry for the way I treated you too.. I never should of let my fear get in the way of my better judgement, I'm so sorry sweetie" mebuki apologised, she then turned to Kakashi. "The kazekage told the Hokage you'd be back soon.. I'm apologise for any hurtful comments I made towards you. The way I acted was not right. My husband and I both apologise greatly for what we have done and out you through. We cannot express how thankful we are to have our daughter back home" Kakashi looked at the women.. Pinching the bridge of his nose he sighed.
"...and I apologise for my stupidity, for taking your daughter whenever I liked. Your apologies are accepted just don't think I'll be that loving future son-in-law that'll do stuff for you" he whispered, "and don't think I'll let you in any time soon" he added a bit more clearly making Sakura smile. Hugging his arm making him sigh "can we just go see tsunade now" Sakura nodded
"Ah right! I'll leave you two too it!" Mebuki said smiling. "Oh and dear, please, come over for dinner. Just this once. I'd like to actually know my grandkids" Sakura nodded. And smiled waving to her mother before walking off with Kakashi by her side,
"The fuck was that" Sakura looked at him
"What?"
"Does she really think she can just apologise for what she did? She shouldn't think I'll just allow her to go near my kids or Shuri"
"Wolfie.. For once she's actually trying to be nice, you know it's been hard on her accepting that I'm in a relationship with you. As well as had kids"
"I know but still. And what about your dad huh? Didn't have the guts to even come" sighing softly Sakura smiled at him
"You gotta hand it to her though Wolfie, she recognised you"
"I know that's the weird thing" Sakura smiled.
"Well here. Once we're done explaining everything to tsunade we can just go have some family time okay? No stress, no parents, no rogues, no ANBU no nothing"
