The girls were all sitting in a circle on the floor of Lauren and Normani's hotel room talking. They were currently on the Reflection Tour and they were always so busy that they never had much free time, so they decided to all hang out tonight at the hotel.
They had watched a movie and were now sitting around, talking about anything that came to mind, just like they would in their XFactor days.
"Did you guys see Y/n today?" Dinah asked the other girls. "Yes! He looked so good! I'm so glad they changed his stage outfit," Lauren chimed in. "I thought he looked really good in his other outfit," Camila said as she leaned against the foot of the bed. "He did, but his new one shows off his ass way better." "Lauren!" Ally scolded. "What? Tell me i'm wrong," Lauren challenged and everyone shrugged.
Normani sat with raised eyebrows and a forced smile as the girls talked about their newest opening act.

She had developed feelings for the boy and she felt kind of awkward when the girls went on and on about how hot he was.
Normani and Y/n had talked many times and she sometimes thought he might have feelings for her too, but she didn't want to assume anything.
"What do you think, Mani?" Camila asked, breaking Normani from her thoughts. "Hmm? What?" Normani asked, trying to figure out what they were talking about. "Which stage outfit do you think looked better on Y/n?" Lauren asked the girl. "Oh. Umm. His new one," Normani stuttered out, earning confused glances from all the girls except Ally. Normani had talked to Ally about her feelings for the boy and Ally insisted that he obviously had feelings for her too.
"Why are you being weird?" Dinah playfully asked, poking Normani's side. "I'm not," Normani insisted, slapping Dinah's hand away. "Yes, you are. Why do you always get weird when we talk about Y/n?" Dinah pushed, not realizing how tense Normani had gotten. Normani didn't want to tell the other girls about her crush because she knew she'd get endlessly teased.
"Mani!"
Normani looked up and saw all eyes on her again. "What's wrong?" Camila asked her. "Nothing." "Does Normani have a little crush?" Dinah asked with a smirk. "What? No!" Normani answered a little too quickly, earning smirks from the other two girls who didn't know about her crush. "Oh. So you wouldn't mind if I asked Y/n out?" Dinah pushed with that same devious smirk on her face.
When Normani didn't answer the girls all squealed. "Aww! Mani Bear!" Lauren screamed and hugged her. "We have to set them up!" Dinah exclaimed. "No! I don't even know if he likes me," Normani said, trying not to show how sad that thought made her. "You're joking right? I've said it once and I'll say it again, that boy is sooo into you," Ally said as she laid on the bed.
"Wait. You knew about this?" Lauren asked, to which Ally nodded. "I am offended," Dinah said as she crossed her arms. "Not the point of this conversation, now how do we plan on setting them up?" Lauren asked, causing Normani to groan. She was about to speak when there was a knock on the door.
"Like this," Camila said as she got up to answer the knock.
She came back a few minutes later with a confused looking Y/n. "Mani your boyfriend is here," she said as she pushed Y/n to sit down next to her. "Oh, would you look at the time! Looks like we have to go do that thing!" Camila said as she grabbed her phone.
"C'mon girls, except Normani."
Ally got up with a smirk as Dinah and Lauren exchanged confused glances. "Wait, what thi- Ow!" Dinah said as Ally hit her in the back of the head.
"Oh! Yea, that thing," Dinah exclaimed unconvincingly. "Lauren would you like to join us?" Camila asked as they started walking out the door. "Uh, yea," Lauren said as she grabbed her phone and walked out.
"Have fun you two!" Camila said with a wink as she went to shut the door but was stopped by Ally. "But not too much fun!" Ally cut in before the door closed.
Normani sat there dumbfounded at how she just got set up. She turned her head to the side to see that Y/n was already looking at her with a smile.
"So... You wanna get out of here? Go get a bite to eat?" Y/n asked as he stood up and gestured for Normani to take his hand. Normani had a wide smile on her face as she took his hand and he helped her up.
