Gerard's POV

After waking up from another nightmare, I decided I would just stay up all night. Watching the sunrise did help, though after not having a good rest. It was the calming, beautiful type of sunrise. Where the pitch black of the night slowly starts morphing into soft baby blue, lilac purple, cotton candy pink, and the bumblebee yellow of the sun. Feeling better with my morning, I walk out of my bedroom to see my mom cooking. Pancakes. Hell yeah!
My little brother Mikey then decided to walk in. "OOO ARE THOSE PANCAKES?! WE'RE EATING GOOD TODAY!" He shouted while dancing around the room. Me being me, I did the only logical thing. Dance and shout with him. "WHEN I SAY I WANT YOU SAY PANCAKES!" "I WANT!" "PANCAKES!" "I WANT!" "PANCA-" "BOYS! You have neighbors that are sleeping!"
"Sorry mom" we said in unison. Slowly a grin appeared on her face. "WHEN I SAY I WANT YOU SAY PANCAKES!" Laughing uncontrollably, we all finally sat down to eat. "Oh Gerard, honey, a letter came in the mail for you." Handing me the letter, I began to read it quickly. "What's it say?" my mom asked suspiciously. "Oh it's just for this silly summer camp that I'm not goi-" "What do you mean you aren't going? You are definitely going! You spend way too much time inside, go out for once!" "Mom, you know I don't-" She gave me the look. The look that says 'You're going and there's no way out of this'. "Fine, but that doesn't mean that I'm not gonna complain the whole way!" People. Socializing. The Outernet. Oh no. This is gonna be hell.
