Chapter 2: Not Alone Anymore

"I don't remember inviting you into my home." He said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"I uh sorry I'll just go-" I stopped mid-sentence when he interrupted.

"I said I don't remember inviting you, I didn't say you can't stay," he said raising an eyebrow. "Why are you all tensed up?"

"Why aren't you? You almost got eaten alive out there." I snapped back. "Sorry, I just don't understand how you're so calm after all this."
He took off his jacket and put it on the couch revealing his buff arms as well as his shirt hugging his stomach showing off his abs.

"I guess I'm just used to all of this, nothing new. So, you got a name?"

I quickly looked back up to him so he wouldn't notice me checking him out.

"It's (Y/n) (L/n), and yours?"

"Leon Kennedy." 

"So uh I'll take the couch." I said scratching the back of my head.

"Sorry pretty thing, but I'm sleeping there." He said his eyes going to the couch back to my eyes.

He can't possibly think I'm gonna share the couch with him. No way in hell, I literally just met him.

"Yeah look, I'm not gonna share the couch with you-" I was cut off by him laughing.

"I meant you sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the couch."

Heat rose to my cheeks making me blush and I looked at the ground trying to hide it. Keyword, trying. I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to say.

"Unless you wanna share the couch with me." He said with a smirk across his face and winked.

"How kind of you, but I don't like to share couches with womanizers."

He put his hand over his heart with a pout face pretending to be hurt. I rolled my eyes at him and headed upstairs to go to bed.

"Hey, where are you going?" I heard him ask as I was almost in bed.

"Away from you." I said with a smirk.

"Women." Leon said under his breath.

Before I actually got in bed, I took off my flannel leaving me with my tank top on, then I took off my jeans so I can sleep comfortably. It didn't take me long to fall asleep, especially after all that has happened today.

I woke up hearing all kinds of infected surrounding the building which made me jump. I put on my jeans and put my hair up while I walked downstairs. I looked at the windows to see infected all over trying to get in.

"What the hell." I said wide-eyed.

"Yeah they scared the shit out of me too." I heard a tired voice on the other side of the room. "We need to move, they're gonna get in in any minute."

"And what makes you think I want to stay by your side? I've been perfectly fine being independent" I said cocking a brow at him.
