I felt a muscular arm wrap around me. I didn't care at this point, because his touch calmed me down and let me fall into a deep sleep.

~

I woke up to Leon shifting in the bed, still holding me in his arms. I very carefully removed his arms without waking him up, then went downstairs to see Dean already starting his day drinking.

"Has today already been stressful for you?" I joked.

"You can say that. Want one?" He said, offering me a drink.

"Nah, I'm good, thanks though."

"Hey." Leon said with a tired voice, which was adorable.

"Looks like princess Leon finally woke up." I said, earning a laugh from Dean.

"Haha very funny. Hit me up with some vodka will you Dean." Leon demanded.

"Looks like little princess over here also woke up on the wrong side of the bed. No need to be all cranky." Dean said, trying to annoy Leon.

"This bun is killing me." I mumbled to myself.

"Does this Dean guy have to stay with us-" Leon started saying while turning his attention to me then cut himself off.

I took out the hair tie and bobby pins, letting my hair flawlessly fall down with curls. I looked up wondering why Leon stopped talking to see both Dean's and Leon's eyes on me. I was clueless as to why they were just staring at me.

"Why don't you finish your sentence, Leon." Dean said smirking.

"Uh, j-just stop being so damn annoying." Leon said with a slight blush, turning his head back to his cup, playing with his fingers.

I soon realized they've never seen me with my hair down which was totally unexpected for them as their reactions were unexpected to me. I slight blushed too, hiding my face with my hair trying to hide it.

"So, I'm gonna go look for my brother, I should be back before it gets too dark-" I said, before getting interrupted.

"I'll come!" Leon and Dean said then glared at each other.

"No I'm going with (y/n). She trusts me more and I'm her partner." Leon said.

"I'm her partner also and she trusts me just as much, it's better if I go because I know I'll get her back here safely, unlike you, no way you'll survive."Dean snapped back, trying to make Leon back down.

"Bullshit, you can't even-"

"Guys! Are you seriously fighting about this? If this is going to be a problem I'll just go alone."

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I guess all three of us will go." Dean said.

"If you guys are, then you will not fight, got it? We can't be distracted out there." I said, crossing my arms so they know I'm serious.

"Yes ma'am." They both said, before we all walked out the door.

Dean tossed me a gun, then I gave him a thank you nod.

Believe it or not, the last time where I saw Mike which is when we split up is an hour away from here. So if I search around that area, maybe I can find something that'll lead me to where he is. That is, if he's still alive.

~

Memories rushed through my mind as I stood where I last saw Mike.

"I remember him running across that bridge, to the castle over there." I said, remembering more and more by the minute.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Leon said, looking straight ahead at the castle.

We made our way to the castle then Dean opened the large doors.

"Can these doors be any louder?" Dean said annoyed.

We walked in being cautious. What worried me is seeing no infected wandering around, which is very odd. So I took my gun out of its holster, holding it to my side, prepared for anything that jumps out. I spotted a hoodie laying on the ground next to a table. I picked it up and knew who's it was right away.

"It's Mike's! I know he's till here, I can feel it!" I said, excited at my find.

Without thinking, I ran up the stairs going towards a door. I quickly opened it, looking for Mike, but instead saw a zombie. It tackled me to the ground making the gun I was holding, drop to the floor. I tried reaching for it while holding the zombie away from me by holding its neck. I tried scooting towards the gun but this zombie was too strong. All of a sudden I heard two gun shots and the zombie stopped moving immediately. I threw it's body away from me and grabbed my gun keeping a firm grip on it so that won't happen again.

"Thanks." Is said, chuckling at myself for not being more careful.

All of a sudden we heard a man yell.

"It came from upstairs!" I yelled, already running upstairs.

"Hey! (Y/n), slow down!" I heard Leon yell. I ignored him. That could've been my brother. I need to get to him.  I skidded on my heels when I entered a room seeing an infected about to walk in.

"What the fu-"

I felt a hand clamp over my mouth then dragged me to a closet. I was about to kick the shit out of whoever just did that, but then recognized his green eyes. It was so cramped in the closet, our bodies couldn't possible be any closer. I jumped when I heard the zombie make a horrifying noise. Leon calmed me down by embracing me. My heart was beating out of control because of how close his face was to mine. His eyes were fixated on mine for I don't know how long.

"It's clear!" Dean whisper yelled letting us know it's safe to come out.

I pulled away from him first opening the closet door then Leon followed after.

"I think he's up ahead." I said, trying not to be awkward.

I walked into the next room to see a man with brown hair and big hazel eyes looking back at me with a huge smile across his face.
