Before Leon could drag me out of the building I quickly take one more bite of the pasta. We escape the building to find out it's raining outside. Just perfect.

"Should we head back to the house?" I ask.

"Let's find somewhere to stay for the time being, there're too many zombies in the direction we came from," Leon replies, pointing to a herd of zombies heading our way. I nod my head. As soon as we start walking, a zombie comes charging at us. Without thinking, I lift my dress up to reveal a combat knife in a holster on my left thigh. Removing it, I trip the zombie and let it fall to the floor. Before it could get up, I stab my blade through the back of its head continuously until it stops moving.

"Thank god you're not my enemy," Leon chuckles. "Let's hurry and get out of this rain before you catch a cold." He removes his jacket, placing it on top of our heads to shield us from the rain. The more time we waste looking around, the heavier the rain gets. While looking around, I spot a motel that doesn't look as broken down as the rest of the buildings in the area. I quickly grab Leon's hand and drag him towards the doors. I open it slowly, making sure to be as quiet as possible just in case there are any signs of zombies around.

We begin to scout out the first and second floors, making sure that we're the only ones in the building. As soon as we're done, we begin to barricade the first floor and lock ourselves into one of the rooms on the second floor.

The room has a heart shaped queen sized bed in the center with a night stand on each side. The walls have a pink tint to them and the floors are made of wood with a circle shaped crimson carpet in the middle. Next to the nightstand is a closet with a table and two chairs beside it. On top of the table is a bottle of wine with a layer of dust covering it with a couple candles on the side.

"What even is this place?" I ask, picking up the bottle of wine from the table and dusting it off.

"No clue, but we might as well use it to our advantage," Leon says in a seductive tone, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist.

"L-Leon! We can't do this here!" I stutter, a slight blush spreading across my cheeks.

"Why not? It's not like Lucy's going to interrupt us like last time."

"Oh god, don't remind me," I sigh as Leon loosens his grip. I quickly shrug out of his arms and turn around to face him. Before he can grab me again, I shove the bottle of wine in his hands. He raises his eyebrow, confused.

"H-How about we go find cups instead," I say nervously, giving him an innocent smile.

Leon stays quiet for a moment and then inches closer to me, bringing his mouth to my ear.

"Don't think you're getting out of this," He purrs, sending a shiver down my spine. "Lets start by looking around downstairs, we're more likely to find a kitchen down there." I nod, beginning to walk ahead of him. I hear him chuckle from behind me as he begins to catch up.

When we reach the kitchen, we search all the drawers for cups. Most of them are either cracked or broken but we eventually find two wine glasses perfect for the occasion. We then bring them back upstairs to the room that we had been staying in. Leon opens the bottle, pouring us each a glass.

"Cheers," Leon says, clinking his glass with mine.

"I never thought I'd celebrate my birthday like this in a zombie apocalypse," I chuckle.

"Look, I'm sorry things didn't exactly turn out the way I had planned." Leon tightens his grip on his glass, almost to the point it looks like it's about to crack. As he's paying attention to the rain falling towards the concrete below, I grasp his hand in mine.

"I love you Leon, and the only thing that matters to me is that we're together, got it? So don't be too hard on yourself," I say, giving him a peck on the lips.

"Remember what I said earlier?" Leon's once gloomy facial expression changes into a mischievous smirk.

"And didn't I already say that we can't being doing that in this situation?" I glared. "Do you not even realize that we're basically trapped in here until the rain stops?"

"Lighten up, you've become so uptight after having Hope." The moment those words left his lips, Leon immediately regretted them.
"N-Not in a bad way of course! You just seem more... adult like?"

A couple of hours pass and from time to time, Leon would give me that 'We could have been having fun this whole time' look. I clear my throat before speaking.

"H-How about another glass of wine?" I say trying to avoid his 'look'.

"Oh no, looks like we're out of wine." He responds sarcastically but fails to hide his perfect smirk. "But one thing we haven't ran out of is time." He makes his way towards me then picks me up from the chair I was sitting so innocently in and carries me bridal style to the bed. I blush slightly, I always get embarrassed about doing this. He lays me down onto the bed then hovers over me. He leans in but stops right before his lips touch mine. He's waiting for my permission, and I gave it to him. I crash my lips onto his, letting his tongue roam every inch of my mouth. I arch my back slightly as he deepens the kiss.

He makes his was down to my neck, sending shivers throughout my whole body. Only this man can make me feel this way. I notice him start to suck hardly on my neck.

"Leon! You're gonna leave a hickey!" I exclaim.

"That's the plan beautiful. I mark what's mine." He says possessively. Before I could react to what he had just said, his lips we already back on mine. I feel his hands tugging at my dress. He lifts it up and over my head easily leaving me in my baby blue lacy bra that matches my dress perfectly. He takes in my body for a second then looks back up at me.

"So sexy." He was about to take his pants off but before he could do so, we heard a loud voice outside. We jump up which unfortunately ruined the mood we've been longing. Leon looks out the window to find out who it was.

"That fucking cock blocker..." Leon mumbles. "Its Dean, and the rain stopped he's probably been looking for us seeing how late it's gotten."

There was only very little sunshine left which means very little visibility. We should get going now before it's completely dark outside.

"Should we head home now?" Lean questions.

"Yeah let's go." I respond. Before heading outside, I quickly slip my dress back on with a little help from Leon. We make our way downstairs and exit the building after moving away our barricade. I look around to see Dean heading our way.

"Glad to see you two were able to get your hands off each other." Dean roles his eyes.

"At least we have someone to keep our hands on," Leon smirks. I elbow Leon in the arm, glaring his way.

"Ouch. And to think I was actually starting to get worried about you guys."

"I was not apart of this," I retort. I look up towards the vanilla sky, realizing that we're only wasting more daylight standing here. I urge the two of them to continue their argument back at the house before it got too late. The moment we begin walking, we're stopped by the sound of screams.

That definitely wasn't a zombie...

Originally this was meant to be two parts but Elise and I have decided that the chapter was becoming too long so
we're turning it into three 😅. The next chapter will also be hinting at something coming in the future so make sure to check that out once it's published :)!
