Let Out The Beast (Blood & Pack # 2)

~An Alpha's Visit~

Amanda's P.O.V.

"Raise to the cliff! You're in!" I smiled as I tagged Tiffany unnie who was just sitting on the counter, waiting for her food to be served. And don't worry, even if we're hybrids we also eat real food like meat and vegetables, today Chantal unnie and Mom are cooking breakfast and also lunch as we woke up pretty late...

"Hey that's not fair! Amanda!" She shouted as I hid behind my father and Seohyun who was just busy talking and reading different reading materials and preference. Even after 20 years, we all are still playing like this even if we're already 26, 27 and 28.

"Amanda! Get back here, you still have to help your sister in preparing a breakfast!" Mom spoke as she crossed her arms on her chest as she placed the spatula down.

"Let her mom, they're having fun" I heard Chantal unnie answered as Tiffany unnie also chased me, my sisters are all scattered around he whole living room, waiting for their food to be served. They're all lazy!

"Isn't she too old to have fun?" Dad asked which made Tiffany unnie ad I to stop chasing each other and looked at them with an offended face. How can they tell that to me? They're so harsh...

"Mom, don't be too harsh. Let them fave fun regardless of all their age" Seohyun answered, aigoo! Our baby sister is now a grown up woman, she's too matured to be the youngest! But I love her so much, she's always the center of attention here in our house.

"You're the best Seohyun! Thank you, I'll wash the dishes in return later" I spoke which caused my mom to shook her head, Tiffany unnie and I smiled as we then ran outside the pack house and run deeper in the woods. I changed into my wolf form as Haera, my wolf, lead me the way towards the cliff where my sisters and I usually hung out.

There was a stream like river inside our territory, we call it a cliff as there are many rocks located on the upper part of the stream. We found this place when we accidentally played hide and seek when I was 5 and since then it became a habit to always come here to watch the beautiful scenery. Then in a few minutes Tiffany unnie finally reached the cliff in her wolf form also, we then changed back to our human form.

"You know you're cheeky are you? You're faster than me when it comes to running, your vampire genes are more dominant than the wolf" My sister punched my shoulder a bit as I just laughed.

"You can't exactly blame me, it's not like I chose to be a vampire than to tranform as wolves." Well my vampire genes are more dominant so even when I'm on my wolf form, I'm still fast.

"We might be physically different but we're both special in our own way, I actually want to experience being a vampire than wolves. It makes me too curious to look at my sisters everyday" Tiffany spoke as we sat on the rocks and watched the stream flowing so smoothly.

"There's something I envy about you, wolves"

"What is it? There's nothing very magical for us to you envy us" Tiffany unnie spoke, well since my vampire genes is more dominant than my wolf gene, then I'm already considered as a vampire.

"Mates, what do you think will happen to me? Do you think I'll have a mate? Vampires are considered as demons, someone who doesn't have any emotion, no feeling of warmth and love. Will I also have a mate just like wolves like you?"

Ever since I was young, all I wanted to do when I grow up is to find my mate, who will cherish me and love me until death because I loved hearing the stories my parents told me. I wanted to find him so we can live happily together.

"Even if you're a vampire, that doesn't mean that you're any different from us, you still have a wolf's blood running in your veins. You're a hybrid, all of us are hybrids except for Chantal but we all know that we're special, each one of us are special in our own way"

"Are you just trying to make me feel better than telling the truth?" I scoffed

"When did I ever lie? Vampires do live alone and is very unsociable but that doesn't mean that they're all alone all their life. Look what happened to mom and dad, a wolf and a vampire fell in love, with or without the pull, they're still fated to love each other"

Well it's true, mom was a vampire and they don't have any emotions, they don't know what love is when she met dad, she immediately fell in love with each other not only just because they're mates. But because they proved to each other that dispite their differences, they are still willing to be together.

"Someone's here" I suddely spoke just when I suddenly heard many heartbeats entering our territory, I can also hear their car engine slowly coming towards the pack house...

"They're many, do you know who they are?" Tiffany asked right after she sniffed the air, then a very unexpected thing suddenly happened...

"Their scents are foreign, I don't know them but they're not rouges nor enemies" I can smell something very sweet lingering in the air, it smells so sweet that I can't help but to have the urge to find it... omg, I'm starting to lose my mind....

"There's something sweet lingering in the air, is Chantal unnie baking a cake?" I turned to Tiffany unnie with a questioning look, I suddenly started to feel so excited to eat the cake Chantal unnie is baking. I'm already hungry but Haera, my wolf can't stop but feel giddy and happy all of a sudden...

"Sweet scent?... Amanda don't you think-" Tiffany unnie sniffed the air first but she turned to me with a curious gaze, I just stared at her with a small smile. Then out of the blue, her eyes started to widen as she turned to me with a very big smile-

"Amanda, Tiffany, it's time for you to go home. Dad said we're going to have a visitor, you both need to prepare yourselves" Tiffany unnie stopped talking as both our eyes turned gold, Chantal unnie is contacting us with the help of telepathy.... wait, visitor? Are those the wolves I smelled earlier? They're our visitor?

"Let's go back" I nod my head when Tiffany unnie said this, we stood up from the rocks and went deeper to the green woods but then I suddenly remebered something... she forgot to tell me what she was supposed to say earlier.

"Unnie, what were you going to say earlier before we received the telepathy?" I asked in full curiosity as I held her shoulder to stop her from walking first.

"Nothing, you'll figure it out sometime don't worry" Tiffany smiled and gently patted me on my back, she transformed into her vampire form and started running back with an incredible speed towards our pack house... what does she means by that? What will I figure out sometime?
