KILLIAN'S P.O.V
I stare at the note, holding Emma's ring in my hand. I can't decide if I'm angry or sad. Annabella and Henry, stare at me, unsure of what to do next.
Looking to the twins then back at the note, I hear myself curse. I apologize quickly before excusing myself from the room.
My Dearest Killian,
I'm so sorry to do this to you, but with everything that's happened I just can't bare to be in Storybrooke anymore. Please take care of Ella and Henry. I trust you to keep them safe.
I leave you my ring because I don't if I'll ever come back.
Just the thought of losing Melody hurts more than you probably know....
I love you to the moon and back.
Please stay safe for me and tell my family I love them. I love you Killian Jones, no matter what you do.
Love,
Your SwanI bite my lip, fighting back tears. I wish she had stayed. She always does this! She runs when things get rough! This time it's different, though. She ran from her home. I don't know if I can forgive her for this.
I slam my fist down on the countertop in the bathroom, praying that this is all some nasty dream. I begin crying, unable to hold it in anymore. I know crying makes a man look weak, but she's my Swan and she's gone.
I clean myself up and erase all signs of tears. I know I deserve this for considering leaving Emma after telling her about her grandfather. I did leave her, but not purposely.
I take my phone out and call her mom, hoping for some kind of closure.
"Hello?" David answers the other end.
"She left, mate," I blurt immediately, knowing he deserves the truth.
"Who?"
"Emma. She's gone, she left a note."
"SHE DID WHAT?! SNOW GRAB THE KEYS AND CALL BELLE!! Hang tight, Killian we're on our way there."
The phone hangs up and I nod my slowly, walking out of the bathroom. As soon as I walk out the twins are there. They must've heard everything.
"Our mom.... left?" Annabella asks, fear evident in her voice.
"Don't worry, sweet Ella. We'll find her. I promise," I state, leaning down next to Henry's ear before whispering Henry, take Ella somewhere far away from here. I don't know what condition your mother will be in when she returns."
Henry nods before leading his sister out of the house. I sigh in relief, glad that I can now focus all my attention on finding Emma.
It's been a day since she left. I sigh, feeling my phone buzz. I got a text.
Rolling my eyes, I check it. I immediately feel my heart race as I see it was from Emma.

MY SWANHey....

Where is somewhere?!
This was a mistake.... bye...
Emma!
Em!
Wth did I just do?!
___________________________I throw my phone across the room, not wanting to comprehend what I just did. I hear the front door open. Sighing, I grab my phone as I leave the room. I see David and Snow talking to each other as I descend the stairs.
"I need someone who can trace a phone," I frown, immediately.
"What? She would've had to have called or texted for you to trace her," Snow replies, giving me a questionable look.
"She... texted me. Just now.... but I screwed it up, as per usual," I grumble with a roll of my eyes.
"What?! Is she ok?!" David immediately asks.
I slip my phone out of my pocket before showing it to him. He sighs, shaking his head. His expression isn't anger, it's sadness.
"If you couldn't get to her, maybe her children can. Where are they?"
"I sent Henry and Annabella away for a bit. If we find Emma and bring her back, we don't know what condition she'll be in. If it's bad, I don't want them around to see it."
They both nod, understanding where I'm coming from. I still have her ring in my hand. I hold it tighter, missing her more than she could possibly know.
Snow excuses herself before calling Pinocchio, more commonly known as August. He's been a computer genius for a few years now. After almost turning to wood, then being turned back into a child, then back into a man after being kidnapped, I'm pretty sure he needed some stability.
Once he's here, I watch as he types away at his laptop, tracing my true love's phone. Sighing, I feel myself struggling.
I'm about ready to break down, but I refuse to even sleep until I know my Swan is ok.
"She's in Boston?" August finally says, shock and confusion in his voice. "Why is she there? What's happened?!"
I sigh, realizing I'd have to tell him sooner or later considering he's one of her best friends. Before I can say a word, Snow begins rambling, obviously nervous.
"Emma was placed under a sleeping curse for five years after the final battle, but before that she found out she was pregnant so when she was placed under the sleeping curse, she was pregnant the entire time. She was rushed to the hospital after nearly collapsing, and lost her newborn daughter, Melody, to a miscarriage. She apparently was so upset by this that she ran, leaving Henry and Ella in Killian's hands. Now, we have no idea where she is," Snow finishes, finally taking a breath.
August seems to understand which scares me a bit. He sighs, shaking his head. He knows Emma too well. I'm a little jealous, but not to the point where I'll confront him about it.
August shuts his laptop and begins packing up his stuff.
"Lets go. We have a Swan to find," his determination to find his best friend evident in his voice.
We all follow him out to an RV he bought for road trips. It's one of the really expensive ones, so we can only assume he'll be careful.
Everyone coming files in, finding a seat. I sit down on one of the couches, staring out the window.
This is going to be a long journey, I just hope the end result is worth it.
