The Kiss -Malec/Jalec

-Alec POV-

I turn on my side and slap the alarm clock making that wretched noise to turn off. I get out of bed and put my gear on ready to walk out the door and head to the Institute.

I look at Magnus and give him a quick kiss on the cheek before walking out.

Once I get to the institute I'm face to face with my Parabatai, Jace. He pulls me aside and tells me about a hunt we are assigned to be on while Clary and Izzy have to stay here and deal with Valentine.

I agree to the mission but quickly look away, not trusting myself to look Jace in the eye anymore.

I love him and I know it might never go away and looking at him while being with Magnus feels so...... dirty.

I walk away from Jace heading to the training room ready to practice my bow technique. After a couple minutes being alone Jace walks in.

"Wanna train? We need to work on some things."

I make sure I look away from him still not allowing myself to look at him at all. My body slowly tenses and I know it's visible for him to see.

I shake my head and tell him I have to go find Izzy and walk out of the room, dreading the day to continue.

-Afternoon; 3rd Person POV-

During a long day of training and planning for tomorrow's mission, Jace has noticed weird behavior from Alec.

He barley looked at Jace and couldn't stand being in a room with him more than a minute at a time.

Being Alec's Parabatai, Jace could feel a weird feeling in his rune thinking that something is actually wrong with him.

Jace finally walked over to Isabelle after Alec left asking her what's wrong with their brother.

"Are you blind Jace? Can't you see why he's acting that way?" Isabelle ask him. After a couple minutes of being confused he finally clicks to what she's saying and back up.

"No. He can't----I'm his Parabatai." Jace says trying to make sure what he's heading isn't true.

"Go to him then. You'll believe if you guys talk." Isabelle tells him. Listening to his sister he slowly goes to Alec and pulls him aside out of eye sight from everyone.

He asks Alec why he's been acting weird but he gets the same response, no eye contact and weird body language.

He puts his hand on his shoulder and whispers to Alec.

"I'm your Parabatai Alec. You can tell me anything. Its okay."

Alec finally looks at Jace and let's out a breath. Very awkwardly he tells Jace how he feels. Ashamed he starts to back away but Jace stops him.

"I want you to see if you actually love me." Jace says. He slowly leans up and kisses Alec, Alec immediately kissing back forgetting about Magnus completely.
